There has been zero leaks out of HQ for a long time so I doubt the latest offering has any real substance. I know the Dragons are offering big money for Blaze. For us to land the three spoken about we would be spending big Steph’s money.

Fisher harris isn't a big prop he's 6'2 and 105 kg which is large for a normal guy but at least 10kgs lighter then everyone else you listed.

For all people like to complain our up and comers are undersized they generally are around the same size as penrith the gold standard of the comp

Tbf, it would be a bigger flex if you had said we signed him. To say we are after him isn’t that big of a deal. There are probably at least 5 clubs who are.

Why is Fisher Harris and JWH so good?

It's like there are just some props that have super awesome motors in them or something. Nathan Hindmarsh and Liam Fulton come to mind, though they were far more energetic then just "Tough" as the above are.


How on earth do you train for that. Easts seem to be able to do it, even though JWH is clearly a step above the rest. Melbourne I know make new starters work in a construction yard for 2 weeks so the players appreciate hard work. This makese sense, as I don't know how many people on the crazy NRL money appreciate how good an income they have.

Young Heath Mason is a player who demonstrates this trait, hence the reason I think he is one of our better up and coming players.

Did you notice the way we just played Into the dragons hands by trying to play it on the forwards . We had no kicking game and stopped moving the ball around to tire out their big forwards

You need a lot of fast twitch muscle fibres to be explosive. It’s very hard to increase your explosiveness, you tend to either have it or not. Fast twitch plus size/weight equals power and a damaging ball runner in NRL. JFH and Leniu have good fast twitch for big men, hence they are very good.
