Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Another small body though. We need a lot of big ass bodyguards to scare people off ragdolling him. We need forwards the opponents hate facing.

Were currently the little fluffy bunny rabbits that every club looks forward to playing, will ease their injured players back ito matches against us as they know they won't be physically tested too much.

Given most of our juniors are well undersized for standard nrl players where are the big aggressive types coming from?

I wouldn't complain about signing him (though people need to realise at least one of Matamua, Faagutu or Lauliilii will move on if he signs) but we still need balance in our pack.
Tallis Duncan is 188cm 6ft 2inch and 98 kg 15st 6lb. He certainly hits hard in tackles.

I have previously stated Tallis Duncan is a rep player of the future and the type of player we could build our team around.
I have not changed my opinion on that, he’s a genuine 13 who has already perfected playing straight and giving a crisp ball out the back. He also has good speed off the mark which makes him a good ball runner and attacking threat.
However I have been watching him very closely this season and for some reason he doesn’t appear to he hitting as hard as he did last season and a lot of his tackles are now more arm grabs than shoulder.
I think Galvin would develop into a better 13 than Duncan, BUT it seems highly likely Galvin doesn’t want that and probably wouldn’t put all his effort into it.

Another well paid player is off the books of a 'well managed salary cap' top team.

Luke Keary backflipping on retirement to sign with Catalans Dragons apparently.

Provided whatever the Roosters pay him next season comes out of the salary cap ..not sure it’s an issue ?

Hope so - but it's also ideal when you can move a high-profile player on with no drama. Roosters know he's a knock away from another extended period on the sidelines.

How do we think Adam comes back? Off the bench easing him back in or chuck him straight in at centre and see how he goes. I honestly wouldn’t mind seeing one or two more appearances in cup but injuries would have me thinking that it’s best if he plays first grade sooner rather than later. To be honest as long as Naden disappears from the team I will have no qualms and please never put Faataape back on the wing he moves like he's running with a egg on a spoon, far better at centre.

Thought naden played well last week , AD needs 1-2 games in nsw cup before he can be looked at for 1st grade , remember he has been out for a year

Benji said before the game on Saturday a couple of games in cup and see how we go from there, he didnt seem in a mad rush to chuck him straight back in.

Benji is a fan of his, called his game against him the
'greatest debut' he's ever seen a few years ago. I
don't think it's out if the question, if he got his mind
right he would be an asset to any team. Just rifling.
Benji probably didn't want to do the deal with Fulton
because it was for 800k a year for 3/4 years and
knew he had some issues with himself & Manly.
He would go good in a young dynamic team like
ours for 500k. Provided we move some cattle along

Get the right players around those guys & look out

The guy is an enormous talent. If he gets his attitude right and puts the hard work in, some club will really benefit. Suli has taken four clubs and a few years to sort himself out.

I wouldn't be against the idea of Schuster if the contract was heavily layered with incentives and SFA if he dudded us.

Absolutely Yoss. Blockbuster. With the right mindset
and with a well drafted contract, you never know lol
