Think we look better with a genuine ball playing lock on the field which I dont think Bateman offers. Jury is still out on Matamua and Kit Laulili'i. Hope Matamua can get the defensive lapses out and improve his running because I like how he moves the ball.

Agree with you there. Matamua has some good ball skills and suitable in lock. If he can lift his defence and fitness he will make a good option for that position.
