He’s a player. Would love to see his tackle efficency. Haven’t seen him miss one so far.Cant see Cronulla letting Iro go now he has a fulltime gig in the centres

Baddabing Baddaboom. Worth the money just there.Don't mind the Douhi signing, only for a year and won't be on a heap of dollars, just hoping his attitude can rub off on the younger guys.
Wish you were talking about Adam Doueihi, well I guess in actual fact he hasn't missed many in the last year or so. 🤣He’s a player. Would love to see his tackle efficency. Haven’t seen him miss one so far.
Well that sux balls! I guess u can’t keep them all.One of our top Harold Matts props Maddax Fui has signed with the Rabbitohs. Hope we can secure our other WM prop View attachment 12954Christian Taupau-Moors.
How long until we nickname him the Man-kini?Heamasi Makasini .. ??
Like the backs , but the forwards are terrible , we need a major upgrade or nothing will changeAD on minimum $150K. That's exactly what he was offered. Richo would have not upped it, no way. Good for depth but yes it is another roster spot.
If Naden & Bateman do go that's 2. Ipap gone already. Stefano who knows? I think we pay out Tumeth & possibly 1 or 2 more.
Roster spots will come it's just who do we sign & what are the priorities?
If Stefano goes definitely a front rower & I would suggest another outside back. Iro from Cronulla is the one for me.
1. Bula
2. Someone in the roster
3. Iro*
4. Olam
5. Turuva
6. Galvin
7. Luai
8. Stef or new signing*
9. Korosaui
10. Klemmer
11. Sam Fainu
12. Seyfarth
13. Tallis Duncan? Doueihi? Unsure
14. Da Silva/Sezer/Sullivan/ L Fainu/Mason
15. Pole
16. Twal
17. Miller/Matamua
We have fair utility/halves utility options.
Be interesting is Sezer stays or gets an offer elsewhere.
Shame he has gone...but Taupau-Moors was the must keep out of the 2. Godinet is another one of the forwards I hope we can lock away. One of our top Harold Matts props Maddax Fui has signed with the Rabbitohs. Hope we can secure our other WM prop View attachment 12954Christian Taupau-Moors.
Hope the club is in a position to announce some of our key pathways signings very soon otherwise Buzz will continue to report on juniors we lose to other clubs.Shame he has gone...but Taupau-Moors was the must keep out of the 2. Godinet is another one of the forwards I hope we can lock away.
Thanks for the info @teddy23Just heard something very crazy today about the club positioning itself to have a very very serious crack at Selwyn Cobbo on November 1st….
There’s a feeling around the league that Brisbane are feeling the pressure of the cap and Reece Walsh’s $1.1mil deal still hasn’t been signed because he wants at least $1.3-$1.4 million.
On top of that Hass, Mam and Carrigan all have recently been given upgraded contracts with all earning anywhere in the region of $800-1 mil each.
Staggs is also off contract next year too and wouldn’t be cheap. My source told me it’s a near certainty that both won’t be able to be retained.
Richo apparently rates him highly as well as Benji and I’m assuming he would see a lot of baby GI in him when he brought him to Souths all those years ago.
I did ask the question if it would be as a fullback and was countered with a no as Bula is seen and hoped to be our fullback for the next 15 years.
Side note: I posted at the start of the year that Duncan would be looked at and have now been told that’s looking like a pipe dream and significantly unlikely. He isn’t in position to talk to clubs until November but still the view is he won’t be coming here if he does leave. Rugby union would be the biggest threat if he were to depart.
Common sense also says the Broncos would prioritise Cobbo over Staggs. Thanks for the info @teddy23
Would be amazing but a lot of due diligence would need to be done as a country Qld boy moving a long way from home. I live up in SE Qld & often been murmurings about him struggling in Brisbane.
Yeah not sure he’s the personality type to want to move to Sydney. I think we’re better off looking at more realistic targets. Thanks for the info @teddy23

Common sense ? very objective mate, who knows how they fit in at training? Or who the Broncs have coming through to replace the left or right centre? So many factors can influence a result that saying common sense doesn’t mean it’s a done deal in any way. Who the hell knows , but I do know that I would love to see SelWyn Cobbo running off Jarome Luai at Leichardt oval on a Sunday in a Wests Tigers jersey… absolutely 🤗Common sense also says the Broncos would prioritise Cobbo over Staggs.
Something is up with Cobbo, noticed the last few weeks he’s been really down in the effort areas. A lot of walking out there. Not surprised he was left out of origin. Perhaps contract related.Just heard something very crazy today about the club positioning itself to have a very very serious crack at Selwyn Cobbo on November 1st….
