This.Bit tired of hearing Galvin drop the "next couple of years" thing like that's some honourable commitment. Sounds very finite.
Triggered much champ? R U OK?Tell us then Oh Oracle, Oh Sage One... what exactly are the parameters for anti-tampering in the latest CBA?
not sure the word illegal means what you think it means.Clubs can discuss terms with a player's manager but, what, the player cannot be informed? Or you can discuss anything with the player so long as it is delivered second-hand via the manager?
The big clubs just get this deal done. No point spending millions on Luai and then giving him a bottom four pack to play behind.Stefano is a player we need to keep but it’s relative when big money is involved.
Stacking those bills. Shoulda had money on Tigers 13+ 🤣

We usually do win a game once every 3 monthsWe won
Hmm do I know what illegal means? Do I even know what "means" means?Triggered much champ? R U OK?

Cant put a Contract in front of a player more than a year out, cant incentivise a player to break Contract at any time.
Tigers CEO Shane Richardson has also warned he will take any club who tries to lure Galvin out to the NRL, with rivals not able to speak to the No.6 until next November.
Abdo also confirmed on Wednesday they were ready to investigate any such claims, and that the league were ready to enforce its anti-tampering rules.
"The rules are there for a reason. It's important to protect the integrity of the game," Abdo said at the Beanie for Brain Cancer launch.
"It's important for all stakeholders, not just the players but the clubs themselves and the fans. We take this very seriously.
"The new CBA has a number of new provisions in it. The clubs, players and the agents are all aware of what the rules are.
"And if they break the rules, there will be serious consequences."
It's not, but it should beIts not illegal for other clubs to discuss terms with his manager.
It's Abdospeak for "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" I'm too Politis to say any Bulldog MooreHmm do I know what illegal means? Do I even know what "means" means?
So according to you, one can discuss any theoretical or actual future contract with the player, on any terms and in any official capacity, so long as you don't put an actual contract in front of them and so long as the proposed contract term does not begin prior to the end of their current contract?
Just clarify then this quote for me, if you will, from the CEO:
What does Abdo mean if anyone can go talk to Lachie Galvin at any time?
I see you are a student of the Pascoe method. Haha. It’s my way of improving our recruitment and retention. You just count your good players twice.

We need to give him a pass because he's 18 years old.This.
I'm his biggest fanboy - but his comments are starting to irk me.
I'd prefer the club put him on a media ban, get a bit nervous when he's doing post-match interviews on Fox.
No harm is API , Luai and Stef meeting up for coffee and bumping into Richo and Benji having coffee at the same place is there , happens all the time bumping into people you know at coffee shop. Get n the phone Api make it happen , Luai needs to get into Stefs head as wellI would be very surprised if has not agreed in some form to a deal elsewhere. Otherwise we would be hearing a different type of language from him and his camp, more designed to squeeze a few extra dollars.
As for Galvins comments, he has been advised by someone he needs to do some repair works after he copped a lot of flak after the release saga. So he is going to use every opportunity to preach commitment for the next year or so. Of course the minute he is a free agent things could all change.
Jerome Luai is going to hold the key to the recruitment and retention of a few players, sadly he is not here now to convince Steph that he future is bright
