Readily available at most bakeries in country Victoria. Had one the other week at Burkies Bakery in Woodend, as a sweet treat after a hot roast lamb roll with mustard and gravy. Tasty !

They’re still around, you gotta look below the pie oven.
I have just finished a pie and sausages roll for dinner, I get 10 pies and sausage rolls from the local Bakery and freeze them. Not that our local does great pies and since Irene retired the local pies are average but I love pies.
And neenish tarts.
