Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

No, never at the ground to watch them, too busy with family matters.
I don’t expect him to necessarily be there all day and watch Jersey Flegg also, but surely taking 2 hours out of his day to watch and support his top 30 and emerging players and provide them with some valuable feedback should be a pre requisite when your club is in a massive struggle to achieve some success.
He should definitely be there

So how are the top 30 and emerging players going to know where they stand if the NRL coach can’t even be bothered to watch them play ?
I would be surprised he isn’t there specially now we are no chance this year , some players have stepped up to nrl , just so he should be working on who to keep and who to unload , our lower grades are not great probably need 6 from both chopped along with at least 3 from our top team
Toa , Nadden , Bud and so on , he could take his family with him to watch the game , support his players and get to know who’s who of the good , and bad

Incredible stats … yet why does Melbourne want to move him on mid contract then ? just like our mate Olam with his gimpy knee …yet on the other hand … they are chasing Stef (aka The Sook) as well.. what gives?

You better send a very nasty email to Bellamy informing him he knows nothing about Rugba Leeg
Bellamy's just a man, he's not a god.
He didn't have a place for Hynes, he thought the Bromwich brothers were cooked.
When you substitute the opinion of others for your own it's not a good thing.

As a ball playing lock you need to mix up your game.
I have never rated Matamua. Big body player with a pea heart.
His work rate is low and impact even lower sometimes i forget he is playing.

The best lock forward that has ever played our game was Bradley Clyde. That is what every single player in the position should aspire to be.
Clyde had the body of a prop with a huge work rate mixed in with ball skills and speed. He understood when to ball play and when to take a hit up.
Matamua has the body type to play NRL but he is far from that stage.
Sometimes you need to mix it up like Yeo does for the Panthers (who is playing his best football at present).
100% agree. No better lock forward then Bradley Clyde. Should be an immortal buy forwards rarely get mentioned.

Many years ago i went to a coaching clinic ran by a gentlemen who coached at a very high level in his sport, he was asked why he attended u/16's,u/18-s games and training sessions he answer was simple and to the point he wanted to know what promising players he had coming through, he wanted to know how they trained how they reacted in training and on game days, he also wanted to know who they were as people not just players. That person was Guus Hiddink.

Shame West Tigers do not do this.

Lame players usually make great coaches for some reason.

Trent Robinson (I call him the blow fish).

Still don’t know how he has ended up in the position he is in. Well, refer to previous conspiracy theories by moir that he is involved with the Freemasons and has been elevated to this position from them.

Hughes is much better than Hynes … he got that one right …

He doesn’t get them all right … but he is the most successful coach in the last 20 years ..

I’ll go with his opinion over yours on this one…

You have no place in your team for Hynes?
Now you're just being silly.
You keep following the flock if it makes you feel safe.
