Got what we deserved and what I expected. Good game for young players to understand how far away this team is. Roosters are physically on paper the best team in the league. Richo has to keep blooming the kids but giving some breaks to come back against lower competition.

132-10 across 3 grades this weekend. We will never be able to cheat the cap flagrantly like the Roosters, but we can emulate the Panthers who have built a dynasty off the back of junior development and Moneyball signings.

They have superior coaching & support staff, however.
We're a fair way from emulating their systems, junior development, etc.

also im looking at the roosters team and they have stars all over the field how does this happen ???

I have to say, despite all that was against them, I thought our young wingers weren’t too bad. They ran hard and straight and would have learnt plenty tonight.

Good points, Hal. If they've got any steel in them, a few floggings along the way won't crush them. The good ones will realise what's required to be a 1st grader and train harder.

I thought Luke Laulilli showed plenty of promise.
As expected I knew he would struggle under the high ball and there was a couple of poor defensive reads early on, but for a kid who has only just turned 18, tonight gave me more hope that he could be another Brian To’o in the making.
He needs more time in NSW Cup to really fine tune his game, but he could have a big future if he keeps himself dedicated.

This loss was always coming. The players tried even though outmatched with some only 18 years old. We can hope they learnt from this loss.

yep and its not like u can just stop watching a tigers games and start watching other games and be happy cause the game itself has got so boring and that also makes me feel bad that these people who run the nrl are destroying the game for me

Yep, poor again. Don't get me wrong, he's not the only one. However, he's the only one mouthing of about deserving to play in a winning team & sees himself at the elite level of props.

Yes it was disappointing but certainly not unexpected. Roosters were very good and should be given credit and as much as we tried, they made us look ordinary.
As supporters, I think we need to accept there will be good and bad with this team. We can compete with some teams but others are simply too good at this stage.
While not impacting the result, I do have serious questions about the quality of refeering and unconscious bias in their decisions (the two sin bins were weak at best).

Lack of speed and lack of height and size is a concern which I’ve stated previously.
But he could very well fill out and end up with a similar physique to what To’o has and considering To’o is not real quick himself.
I would rather a Dominic Young clone, but where do you find one of them ?
