LIVE GAME Round 17 vs. Roosters

Live Game Discussion
This team is far from the worst of all time, are you kidding me?
We flogged the Sharks and the Raiders - two mainstays of the top 8 for the past 5 or 6 years.

Yes, I dont think Api played well last night.

At the end of the day, Lachlan is being promoted as the permanent halves partner for Luai next year. I am less than thrilled about that as he has not had a great year results wise - currently 3 wins from 12 games played. Whilst he has been the 5/8th, we have scored 36 tries...half of which were scored in 3 games. Its not enough. We are the competition's worst attacking side.
We have to take a pragmatic look towards next year. Its a damn shame Fainu is injured as we cant accurately compare apples with apples. Suffice to say, it is dangerous to go into season 2025 with a half still on training wheels. At this stage, whether it is Galvin or Fainu, this will be the case.
Good points. But Galvin was one of our best

Worry? About what exactly. My future on the planet and how a bunch of teenagers will/can/ affect my immortality that belong to a certain tribe in the Universe? The meaning of ife if you will. Tucker

He is probably worth what WT are currently paying for mine, with the question mark being if he is going to be worth the cost of the next contract?
I think his major issue is in the head, not the body. His $64 question is imo, are we going to improve and become a force, or is it going to be more of the same ?
At present, I don’t think he says any light at the end of the tunnel( like a lot of us).
Luai is one thing but forward support is another and I just don’t think Klemmer, Bateman and Twal are going to do it.

One thing I did notice yesterday was our lack of contest in most of our high kicks.
The week before it was a standout part of our play with just about every bomb challenged.
Maybe having our left foot kicker positioned on the right several times, didn’t help. Surely we have Sezer left and Galvin/ Douhei right but our kicks were overall pretty average.

Only select players who are willing to do this each and every week and it would be a big step in fixing our average attack.
Bula should be leading the way, he’s not a playmaker, he doesn’t kick the ball, the least he can do is chase and contest the high balls.

He could play wing - no decisions to make, fast and big enough. Buy a centre!
I was actually thinking that too. Big body from the back, good speed & less decisions to make. Just not sure whether the regular leaping for high balls with his past knee surgeries. But if Lomax can do it, why not!

Because the reality is the vernacular of the language Moreover does football spill over into your petsonal/family life? Where do we draw the line? Great observation Tucker. You made me think. Again. And you schooled me in film. Particularly the Fight Club.
