He was doing alright last year, making nearly 140m per games. The question needs to be asked why he's not performing up to what he has before. Maybe he's caught the same wests tigeritis that Ice caught.

We don't have a good roster but my god we are badly coached.

Not many of the young emerging players have an aggressive, physical presence about them at a young age, he has demonstrated that he does from NRL game 1.
Obviously the Eels will be doing all they can to keep him, but so should we if we want a young back rower who can be a difference maker.

We should at least be talking to Saifiti.

If we are losing Stef we certainly should be, but a fully focused Stef is a better player than both Saifiti brothers.
Like what many have been saying about Bula and I am starting to agree, Stef will be a much better player with more good quality aggressive players around him.

Well I didn’t see him ripping and tearing in the NRL from game 1 and I do t think the Eels really did either.

No quality props on the market now. Can only hope for an off season release. Anything else is risky.

We need an established prop. We can't expect a 19 year old to hold up an end when there is no support around him. Miller is our young prop and the club are going to stick with him it seems. We can't keep adding more young guys with potential or guys at the tail end of their career. We need consistent performers.

It's ok if you're the Roosters with JWH, Collins and Leniu, but we have Klemmer and Twal. Neither of those two are making teams shiver.

Pole is our Leniu. We just need a quality signing at prop to support what he does.

The problem is, the players have contracts. If we are not able to move them on or they refuse to leave, whatbis your solution?

Donoghoe is an aggressive young player who can cover hooker, lock, 5/8 or the centres.
Guymer offers hard running and aggression.
Twal you know what you get, good work rate.
Hunt offers hard running, physical defence and getting his team well and truly on the front foot.

Benji needs to give Pole an extension and upgrade on his contract in my opinion he is a much better prospect than Stef. Stef is a lazy sod. His stats are crap. I say good luck to his next club (Parra) def going there for a premiership lmao 🤣.

In NRL and ESL many teams are still trying to win a comp. It would unsettle the current season to announce departures.

That’s my hopeful reasoning anyway.
