Stefano Utoikamanu #241

At very least I think the club should publicly withdraw their extension offer to be able to use $$$ elsewhere and leave it up to Ute to approach club if he gets no offers from elsewhere and he can then see what the club can spare..

they have a million dollars already to sign players not including Stefs money ,,.,so that’s not what is stopping them

Why hold back mate, that first stint last night was one of the most disgusting displays I have witnessed in a long time.

If he wasn't tanking last night then I can't come up with an explanation of what was happening, because although I believe he has been overrated as far as his efforts on field go for a very long time, surely his form cannot drop off as badly as his has lately without it being a deliberate attempt at sabotage.

If he has already signed with the Storm then if I was Bellyache I would be hoping that this useless pile of excrement is better with a shovel in hand than he is at playing rugby league so that at least he can get some value out of him by farming him out to some labour hire company.

Rip up the offer we have made to him now and if he hasn't already signed with anyone else then he can play out the rest of his current contract stinking it up in KOE cup, if his form is good enough for that level of competition.

As far as I am concerned he is nothing but a stupid, lazy, tanking, fat headed fool bringing disrespect to his family, team mates and supporters, but like you I have to really hold back on what I really do think about the lazy good for nothing bastard.

I'll leave it there because if I was to say what I really think then I think I would be heavily edited or most likely banned because what I'm thinking at the moment is not very pleasant.
I'm holding back on criticism because I'm thinking of stefs possible mental health at this time.
None of us know what's going on with him... There could be other issues... But I'd hate for him to do something silly and drastic at this likely low point in his career

The NAS rumour of coming here along with the weird Instagram thing, along with the rumour of Utoikamanu meeting with Bellamy...it's a lot of dots that can be connected.
As long as NAS is passed fit by a medical assessment Im fine with switching players, my only caveat on that is that Olam's medical fitness 'pass' must surely be questioned.

Surely his manager is telling him to aim up so he can get a beefier contract. He has an offer on the table for 800k plus his current contract he is on. I really don’t see any benefit for him to play ordinary
Unless there’s something emotional outside of football going on you can only assume it’s the negotiations
One thing is certain is that real leader's still perform

Ink I totally agree with your compassion re Stef, however mate there are plenty of mental health experts available to him if the negotiations or pressure are to much for him at this point in time,it is the NRL and his manager should be looking after his welfare rather than his own wallet...

It seems coincidental but it was a timeline of events starting from his last game before the bye to the time returning back to training for next round.
I was most impressed he didn’t snap his skateboard with that kick flip he did.

One thing I've been thinking about.
The way Stef has been playing, might be as good as he can be, it's just our expectations of the guy have been to high.
Maybe because of how much we pay him.
Plus the fact he has asked for more, and we are negotiating with the possibility of more $$$ to keep him, when in reality he ain't worth keeping.
