He was poor against Manly, Souths, the Warriors and Jets. I was shocked when he was handed an NRL debut, even more so when he had a great game. Even his first half today was better than anything he's managed in KOE.

Laulilii's level is Jersey Flegg. He may progress to NRL standard one day but I won't be holding my breath.

Nothing against the kid, he runs the ball kamikaze style which barely any 18 year olds would be willing to do at NRL level, but as an overall player he has not shown enough in the lower grades to earn an NRL position.
Anyway there are far bigger problems than him, Bateman, Klemmer and more recently Sezer all offer nothing and nobody can tell me Bula is playing up to NRL standard on a regular basis. I thought he may have turned the corner with a strong game against the Storm, but he played like a reserve grader the afternoon.

I reckon it was worse than the typical hip drop ...when you wrap your foot around the opposition's leg it is at dog act levels .....you know the risk of injuring someone increases
I agree players have to harden up .....but that was low stuff from Sezer ....

Fair call, I saw it at an accident but I’m not going to argue about it. It’s just one of those things I don’t Like about the game these days…. I bet he doesn’t miss out next week.

There is a serious footballer in Sione Fainu and we have t even signed him for next season as yet.
Latu Fainu shows some glimpses of his talent also.
Talyn and Lachie Galvin showed what enormous potential they have, but they do both need to toughen up and defend stronger over the full 80mins.

Galvin definitely needs to work on his defense, but the whole team does.. this sitting back and waiting for the opposition to pas at the line is so frustrating… back yourselves to wrap up the ball. (Which they have no idea how to do by the way)

I'll agree Doueihi wants the ball and that's a good thing. But to say Bula blatantly doesn't want it is absurd. He has proving time and again that he wants the ball and gets involved more than many fullbacks

I thought Bula did ok but with not much support.. a few crash overs shouldn’t have been left to him, but generally good as a fullback, obviously could be better but the whole team is in that verse

Toa is better than Doueihi and Naden is better than Faataape. Doueihi can play wing instead of Laulii.
TDS stays until Api returns. Then shares duties 60/40.
Latu stays until Sezer returns and then he pushes Galvin out of 5/8.
Galvin can be trialled in the centres…either of them.
For the forwards, Klemmer drops to bench for Twal.
Papa returns and pushes Sam F to bench.

What other fullback throws stupid lobbed 20m passes at the back when they have plenty of room to run the ball themselves ?
What other fullback cannot break a tackle one on one ?

It’s all about confidence and dropping him isn’t going to help the kid.
This year is over we are planning for the future so even though his hands were terrible today his work coming out of our end (when he caught the ball) was alright.

Tigers need to improve their overall roster the kids need time butbwe have too many established players that are big first graders.
