John Bateman #268

[Tucker]

Is that true Tucker?

Of course not. I am not waging a war on the man. He is playing well above his experience level, is very busy and is having a go. Ive said as much all year.
I am saying he is not a 5/8 and facts are facts. We have won 3 games with him runnin our attack - which is the second worst in the competition. I dont want his sacked or his contract torn up...I simply want to see others in that role so we can compare ability as we have Luai coming next year and we need to know who to partner him with for maximum effectiveness.

[AmericanHistoryX]

Cant argue with that. Afterall 3 cannot fit into 2. Luai, Galvin and Latu

[Tucker]

So you would be happy for Galvin to leave according to statistics?

No and Ive expressed why many many times

[Tucker]

You use statistics to suit your narrative yet when people bring up statistics for Stefano you say statistics never tell the full picture so which one is it mate?

Ive never said that, Ive maintaned that for a bloke who wants near a mill per season, he is not producing anywhere near enough to warrant paying him that.

[Tucker]

Cant argue with that. Afterall 3 cannot fit into 2. Luai, Galvin and Latu

For the record, I have also stated many times that Galvin will make an elite lock forward, likely one able to rep his country.

[AmericanHistoryX]

Yes you have. Not absurd at all.

[king_sirro]

Well thats because you hate the guy and refuse to see reason.
I suggest people on here stop listening to your bullshit and look into his game with a neutral perspective.
Even I was surprised how wrong you have been.

And yet there hasn't been a single NRL expert defend him, the current coaching staff are seeing it my way, the majority of supporters agree he is a dud. So I guess we are all wrong and you are right.

[king_sirro]

LOL this is where you are showing your true colours.
YOU have been waging a war on ths bloke and what you are saying is proven to be bullshit.
Your hatred for the guy is masking you from what he is doing well and that makes your claims laughable, simplistic and very very misleading.
Cut it out.

You compared Batemans performances to many other players saying they are the same. Then stated that's a fact. How is that a fact and not an opinion? Your really struggling here mate and making it up as you go.

Facts are facts. Your narrative is incorrect at best and lies at worst.

[AmericanHistoryX]

Not Bennett.

The experts are saying Bennett is dangling a carrott in front of Bateman via Burgess another expert that just picked him up.

LOL you are the one struggling for credibility. I have exposed your lies.

He is still playing for his country as well but we'll ignore that because he didnt sign king sirro's hat lmfao.....

[king_sirro]

Facts are facts. Your narrative is incorrect at best and lies at worst.

You see, what should happen here is that you explain WHY your comparison of players is a fact and not an opinion. Your failure to do so and simply saying "facts are facts" proves my point, it's your opnion, a very very poor opnion.

[hsvjones]

Have WTs members been given
the courtesy of being informed
officially about whats going on
with their co-captain yet?

I thought Benji said yesterday in his coaching insider that the club would put something out later that day.
It's like he let it slip.

[king_sirro]

LOL you are the one struggling for credibility. I have exposed your lies.

The thing is, it's a huge call for a club to axe its vice captain, ship him off immediately. You don't seem to realise how significant that is. You can remain a fan of Bateman all you like, that's your own torture to endure. The club has made its call, and it's not even close to your thinking thank god

if you could read, you would see what you are saying is lies.
You claim he has been our worst at giving penalties away. Wrong, only 6 all year. You blame his ill discipline for our results of late. Wrong, he hasnt produced a penalty or infringement since round 9.
You dont like the bloke and have been spewing hatred towards him for ages. With no data to backup anything you are saying. This makes what you are saying opinion and for mine, it makes what you say on here untrustworthy.... the way you jumped on here straight on the attack when I hadnt even mentioned your name shows the guilty conscience.

[WestsEffTheRest]

Forget his about his awful form he completely undermined the Head Coach infront of the playing group & as a senior player that's not on. Any concerns he has they should be aired privately.

Now you are just telling flat out lies because he gave away a penalty by stripping the ball on the weekend & gifting Souths 2 points & he also gave away a six again on the 4th tackle which led to Souths scoring.

Im not necessarily a fan of his. Ive just been laughing at the vitriol towards him so I decided to have a proper look and see exactly what his output has been.
The bullshit surrounding him is not helpful.

How do you know that occurred?
Same bloke who said Galvin was screaming in the sheds?
