IMO he is the most irrelevant Rugby League journo I have ever come across. At least on the odd occasion you can tell Hooper and Rothfield get some information, but this guy Crawley never gets a whisper of anything. He makes stuff up, gives his opinion and simply speculates 100% of the time.
They are all an embarrassment to journalism, but Crawley is so bad he is an embarrassment to modern sports Journalism and makes Hooper and Rothfield look competent.

For the lack of wins ? Yea … yea I can ! He’s a key figure in a losing team , and failed to provide any platform when the opposition came at him . The gameplan with Stef is simple . Smash him and rough him up , and he disappears .
I don’t uunderstand the cognitive dissonance being displayed by a lot of people on this . It was the same with Luke Brooks . The reason you were on a losing team was because you were the main player on that team . To imply the losing has nothing to do with you is some serious mental gymnastics .
Like Buzz blaming the tigers for Brooks failure . The form of manly when DCE wasn’t playing is case in point . They couldn’t win a chook raffle .
The issue the tigers have is the fact people identified both players as leaders when they’re clearly followers .
Identifying the correct players to build around and drive standards and culture , is our huge issue .

What a lot of complete bullshit. He was a small bloke completely surrounded by about 6-8 first grade rugby league players. NOBODY was at danger or threatened and the guy wasnt aggressive to anyone. Taylan May sneaks up from behind the guy like a complete coward, no chance to defend himself, grabs him by the collar and flings him backwards, head first to the concrete, very close to a planter. May was VERY lucky the guy didnt end up with serious injuries/death and it was a gutless cowardly attack.

Anyone who defends that kind of gutless attack wants to check themselves.
