Josh Addo-Carr has been a great player, is still generally good when he plays and he certainly has sheer speed that we don’t have in our backline, but he’s becoming very injury proned and missing lots of games because of it.
It is not his strength to make big metres and play a big part in assisting with the tough carries out of his teams danger zone, therefore would he really be a signing that would significantly help us ?
For these reasons I don’t think the signing Richo was referring to is him, I don’t think he was referring to To’o without any indication about him being released by the Panthers and I don’t think it would be Taylan May with the pending court case hanging over his head.
Doesn’t leave much does it ?
I just remembered Richo seemed to indicate this mystery imminent signing is not a prop, so it has me stumped ?

What if behind the scenes, stef wanted to go penrith so they’ve done a deal to give us bizza and that’s why they’ve gotten Blaize who would be a lot cheaper on the wing. Penrith lost a bit upfront in the forwards and salary cap wise are tight. Could be good business.

Honestly can't remember. Wether To'o signs with the Tigers or not looks like he might be on his way out out of Penrith. Alexander and Fletcher are saying he won't be released but if he missed training due to this issue i can't see him beeing there next year.

Heard on a podcast that they were saying the same thing about Crichton before he left for the dogs so I don’t trust that fully. Also if they were to release him it wouldn’t be to go to a top club so no Roosters. He’d come here because his best friend is coming here and he’d get more money.
