Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Dylan Walker looking to leave Warriors to return back to Sydney- has a history with Richo and has been outstanding for Warriors this year
Walker as lock (where he is playing for Warriors) could be good for us especially with Papali'i moving on. It allows Pole to focus on a front-row spot and Walker provides a bit of ball-playing as well. Will need to move some players on though...

Walker has been playing some good footy at the warriors for a few years i think he'd be a great pick up for us could be the player Richo was referring to we lack a good utility that can play in the forwards and the backs. I'd personally play him at 13 but you can see the value of him on the bench rotation too.

So no Bizza, no Talagi….. Jack Bird is still available…… the only thing that could make it worse is if we lose tonight… peace be with me

Sam Macintyre starting at prop & Thomas Mikaele
at lock on their returns to Leichhardt. Better not
make them look like Paul Harragon & Bradley Clyde.
I've been confident of a win for the last few weeks
so don't listen to me but we should do them in tonight

Why on earth would anybody Even think about Bird,
He has nothing that we would require, I personally would prefer to stay with the players we have than give Bird a go. He only showed that he was OK in his first 2 years in the game, showed nothing since then.

He's been injured ever since then.

If Stef goes to Dogs then would be no surprise to see JAC become available (as on approx $500k) with the Dogs outside back depth, otherwise we go hard for Skelton.

So Holmes, Bird, JAC, or Skelton unless something mysterious happens like Cobbo wanting out of Broncs (seeks advice from GI who says join my mate Richo at the Tiges)

I am always amazed about how we lose it if one our "juniors" (ie Galvin) wants to leave but have no problems targeting the juniors of other teams (ie Talagi).
I think the difference is that Galvin is contracted for 2 more years and his manager was agitating for a release, whereas Talagi is off contract and can sign with anyone he wants.
Stef has a contract but due to a stupid clause by previous management he was able to leave early which it seems many players at Parramatta have also.
I do not begrudge players leaving if they serve their time but when Moses and Matterson dog it to leave it is not acceptable.

Why play the Dog's game? JAC has been a fine winger but at his age? There is a line in the sand where WTs says enough, no more offcuts! We need to work hard to get better.

No big loss , same as Papi and Bateman , there are players under contract and off contract that will come up
Richo says nearing a completed deal with a player currently so thats 1
he can replace these no problem as they have all been poor this year and did not assit the team at all, he can announce it now , who cares
I would wait to see who this signing is , before going over board , that he can replace papa and Bateman no problem

Papali'i' and Bateman are big names but they have not performed to the standard of their standing in the game. Moving them on is consistent with what Richardson has said about reviewing the roster. I support this approach and hopefully we can pick up younger and very talented players looking for an opportunity in the NRL.

Think there backs will cut us to pieces, believe we can hold them in the forwards maybe
