I’m in a couple of SuperCoach groups on FB, and like clockwork, every single time we play, theres at least one person making a post, asking who she is.

According to the experts on here there's barely a dozen players worthy of our consideration.

Yeah I’m not sure that’s entirely correct, but we’ll see in the next couple of years if Stef was just being a cat here or not.

Maybe if the club had given them a 1/2 s pairing they might have preformed better , so next year we have a much better backline but no forwards , so will we call out our gun 1/2s for not preforming, without any forwards

I have been thinking the exact same thing.
We only keep a Klemmer + 2 years, pole. No Stef + Bateman leaves us really REALLY weak up front.

It's going to be a tough ask for Luai. Yes people will blame our halfback when the forward pack for 2025 looks awful compared to 2022.

The interesting bit for me is that we still have 2 options that we need to understand what's happening in Sezer and Tumeth and 5 players in our current top squad who aren't in the top 30 next year in - Alimalo, faatape, Porter, Johansson and Sione Fainu.

What we really need to do is clear the decks. Not sure who goes but their would have to be questions around - Feledy, Sakuru, Naden, Sullivan, Matamua, Kit, Sukkar, Faagutu as to which if any we have next yr. None have made any impression in nrl this year and yes some are young but then imo they should be on development or cup contracts not top 30 but don't know how you go about paying them out and still keeping them at that lower level

Agree , I would be locking up Ruben Porter , he is improving every game and a good off season he will become another player like young Sam F. Both going to be strong for up

Play the ball Buttsy, when you play the man you can expect 10 in the Bin. Stefano is one of the best front rowers in the game and Richo was visibly upset that he couldn’t retain him. I can understand you echoing Richo’s sentiments but because he acted like a spoilt brat doesn’t mean it’s right to follow him down that path.
The real problem is that Stef gave us 3 full seasons to get our act together and we took away his hopes and aspirations. Stefano is leaving because he wants to be a better player and I applaud the guy for that.
