He’s not doing himself any favours then attracting interest from other NRL clubs. Unless Richo can produce a miracle, we may be stuck with him as our $500k NSW Cup halfback.
Which is why the smarter move would have been playing him in NRL while he was playing well in NSW Cup.
Seems like he is now happy to just be unmotivated and collect his 500k per season pay cheque.
The club is more at fault in the way they have handled it than what Sullivan is.

34-0 down at halftime. Make no mistake, this is a different roosters side from the one we played a month ago. They belted a much stronger Manly team 58-6 last week. They would give our first grade a run for their money. Supreme athletes from 1-17. By contrast, we're a team of unconditioned midgets.

Every one has been poor but special mention to Bud, Casey and Broerderlow who has been exceptionally bad.
Not different in team list. They have Dochar-Clay & Toia in but in that side we flogged was Sandon Smith & Ethan King. We have similar team minus Johannssen, To’a & Latu.

I’d say Bud’s motivation levels are zero knowing he won’t get selected for NRL no matter what he does.
Same goes for Naden, but not sure what the excuse is for the rest of them.
But as we know when your teams halfback is unmotivated and doesn’t want to be there it is very hard for the team to function,

Bud has checked out. He's not talking, calling for the ball or pushing in defence. It's like watching Moses when he was agitating for a release

As disappointing as the sh*those defence was out failure to score from 10+ sets on their line. Of course, our NRL side would've had 2 in the bin after so many infringements, but we should've scored regardless.

It’s gonna be costly for us.
It sounds like we will need to pay him out 1.5 million for the next 3 seasons:
Based on comments earlier this season from Phil Gould, I’m led to believe the club can negotiate a payout with the player and if accepted it is only the payout amount that needs to come out of the salary cap moving forward.
Say Sullivan accepts a 1 million dollar payout, could we not use some of front loaded salary cap money from this year to say pay him 400K out of this years cap and then split the remaining 600k over the next 3 years ?

Yes and no. We had no halves and were pretty desperate. NOBODY new we would sign Luai and Galvin would play so well,
It’s a tough one to judge given where we were! Easy in hindsight…

Nice idea, but Look where we are this season. Halves injured, suspended also talk of some wanting out. Mite have ti wait another season out.

I can't stand  people who display no effort in their job.

From McDonald's employee to NSW cup football player... if you don't want to try your best, stay at home.

Jayden Sullivan is a dud.
Costly, indeed.
But hopefully his weakness will be remembered.
The lad is short sighted, thats for sure.

On a great contract for 4 years but that will be it....career over and no more decent money.

WT just never learn. We wait out the years of poor contracts for the likes of Reynolds and Mbye hoping we've learned our lesson but then go and sign long term contracts for guys like this.

Be grateful for a player review from this game @TV Ted Ellery when you have time mate.

I have serious doubts on most players in today’s team but have hopes for Mason, Hodges & our young middles. Broederlow is a funny one, cam make you think he’s got to tools & effort but then defence & effort can be disappointing at times.

Both second rowers who played Flegg today are far superior players to him, put it that way,
