FUTURE’S BRIGHT AT THE TIGERS DESPITE CURRENT WOES

Whats all the hate for Richo? He can not fix what dumb and Dumber did to the club in 8 months. Give him a chance and Benji with Luai.

Anyone got any footage of this possible NSW riff back rower?
It’s not hate , it’s how he talks the talk , but we have seen no action , he releases papa , but no replacement, he lets Bateman walk when we still had a chance of avoiding the spoon , his continued statement if we can bring kids throw to fill the gap , then u watch the NSW cup side getting slaughtered, that’s why I am along with some others , worried about where he’s going

I can see both sides of this argument Richo is damned if you do and damned if you don't. He could hold the players till better are signed which could prolong the roster turnaround depending on what's available. He can do as he is now and just punt the players viewed as surplus and just start ripping the band aid off and moving on asap. Imo we've let go of players who at other clubs will perform well but at the Tigers won 2 wooden spoons, there are issues at the club undoubtedly that are the reasons for that, irrespective they aren't performing so am more supportive of just getting it done asap so the roster rebuild can happen sooner. In my eyes winning 3 or 4 wooden spoons in a row makes no diffrence on the condition we finally right the ship and do it properly this time. My concern is losing our young talent whilst going through this period.
Letting players go early allows you to have some money to put towards getting a player to leave early. If you have to pay anything towards a player to leave it has to come from somewhere or be hamstrung in your salary cap.
Regardless of weather the payment is counted in the cap or not you still have to have the $ to do so

This narrative started on here lately that the kids do no wrong and the experienced guys are the reason we are last again, gives me the shits.
It is incorrect. The kids F*ck up a lot. They are all to blame.
The narrative isn’t wrong though. Is it the reason we are last? Most definitely not, but we wouldn’t be if the experienced guys were doing their job.

By experienced players I’m simply going by games played rather than age; simply due to the fact that older doesn't always equal more games.

Week in and out our juniors have been outperforming the “senior playing group.” But the problem also is we don’t have a lot of senior players. But for interests let’s go through a few players: Bateman being a captain has a duty to lead by voice and example and his final game was anything but that, Samuela has outperformed him in every facet. Next is Fonua Pole who again is outperforming most by sheer effort and will.

Our problem isn’t on all of our senior players but there is responsibilities that you must take with that title. Aidan being suspended for a better part of the year is just unacceptable and Olam being sent off again is just not good enough. What this team lacks is direction because most of it is coming Api. A hookers job is simply the delivery of the set not the direction. The halves dictate where the ball goes and the hooker delivers it. When Jarome comes next year he will not settle for anything less then winning and if players aren’t performing you best believe he’s gonna call them out on it.

For your sentiment on the juniors messing up, personally I’d rather them make mistakes trying than not. When we are on, we are on and it’s extremely hard to stop but that comes from Bula, Galvin, Da Silva, Api, Fainu. Last week all Papalii had to do was hold the ball but he lost us the momentum. The errors the young ones make are from trying which is all you can ask. As they get more experience more often than not they can nail those plays and gain consistency. It is still early days.

I agree though, they are all to blame. No one in this team is faultless, not even Api.

I challenge you to find one single post that backs that up. No one has once said anything of the sort in regard to the youngsters doing no wrong. Your getting yourself worked up over something that isn't even there and taking it out on people who have had enough of the experienced players not performing.

It's really all about transitioning, the question is whether we do it gradually which in theory should be more gentle but take longer, or as we currently are just rip the band aid off which is much more harsh but in theory speeds up the "rebuild".

How fast you do it relies on $$
But I’m all for ripping the Band-Aid off
The dogs have done some dubious dealings imo Josh Jackson and tpj but are definitely better off
