Would anyone consider Ryan Matterson again for an edge spot? (potentially 13)

I personally would find it hard to support him thanks to his past exit, but would there be any value in exploring it if Parra chip in and we get him at a decent price? Hes a flog but was solid when here.
NOT. AT. ALL.
Despite being a piece of shit as a human being, the grub isnt even playing well.

He is a good footballer but we don’t need him back here , he bailed on us in the past so def a no for mine

Yep bit of both. The only match I've seen our kick chase work well was against the Raiders.

The coaches really need to drum into our players ... CHASE FAST, CHASE HARD, CHASE TOGETHER, EFFORT ON EFFORT ON EFFORT!

I hope they are smashed in the pre-season to determine the strong from the weak, the fit from the lazy!
If I was coaching the first month would be S.A.S training with a proper drill instructor. To teach them teamwork and mentally and physically push their limits. Give them a week off then get them on the field.

Sometimes it is far more lucrative to remain in a successful situation.
For example, life after footy would be a lot better for well known winners in terms of marketing possibilities, employment, guest speaking etc.
As an executive, do you want a 4 time premiership winner who played heaps of rep footy or a 2 time winner who then went to a shit club and vanished?
Better representative prospects, better post football prospects to balance out the salary loss and the opportunity to actually enjoy their football. Hard to see why anyone wouldn't knock back the overs to play at a successful club.
Plus there is very little lifestyle difference between 600k and 700k as opposed to 100 and 200k.

100%.
Our fullback is number 7 in the comp for most errors.
Our halfback is number 4 in the comp for most penalties.
Our hooker is number 1 in the comp for most missed tackles.
Our 5/8th is as green as shit and running the second worst attack in the comp.
Our props are lowly rated as meter eaters and defenders.
Our backrowers are all outside the top 70 defenders in the comp.
Our centres and wingers arent in the top 50 try scorers, nor the top 75 kick returners in the comp.

Lots to work on yet most stay in the top grade for...reasons
Benji's fault.
Can be coached to address these minor flaws.

Been on the road in Europe now for a month, with the nine hour or so time difference I wake up eagerly hoping to see something positive on the signings front. Today I had nine unread pages so the excitement was building, nine pages later a big fat nothing and lots of waffle.

Another month to go, so I guess nothing much is going to change till the apples start falling out the tree and we have a few apples find a new home…the more the better

Aren't you glad you came back?

it is mate. Faagutu has a higher ceiling than Sukkar, but because Sukkar is further along the development path they might have to make a tough call because of a silly contracted handed out by previous management.

throw in Johannssen and Sione Fainu jumping him in the queue and I feel as if it’s pretty clear what direction the club is going in.

Feledy makes sense because as you say he’s defensively atrocious and has a number of players of a higher calibre coming for his place in the squad in a couple years.

Saukuru has plenty of upside, but given he’s an injury prone utility and shown he’s not up to standard defensively even at Cup level, I think the club will also be showing him the door.

tough calls to make around a few young kids with promise but I can see Richardson making them.
Who are the 10 players we are signing to replace everyone we are letting go?
