they’re 17, BP. why on earth would we push a pair of 17-year-olds through the grades if they weren’t a part of our future.

Richardson always says that he won’t push players thru the grades unless they commit to the club. I think, while unconfirmed, it’s fair to say that’s pretty likely to have occurred.
 
If Onitoni moves through the pathways as a fullback all the way up to cup then you’d have to assume that Jahream probably moves to centre to accomodate, which to be fair is his junior position. I’m starting to notice a trend that a lot of juniors want that fullback position for some reason (maybe money) but there’s not doubt Large will flourish there.

As for Heamasi Makasini I can’t say I see him as a wing nor would the club judging by his performances this year. The likely reasoning for that position is just to fit him in as they had to drop Xavier Tauaifuaiga so I wouldn’t read too deeply in it. It’s a clear sign that these boys are hopefully in for the ride.

Don’t agree, he’s had limited time through injury plus being his first year at the club. Let’s just keep getting burnout garden gnomes cause that’s working for us, isn’t it?? He’s costing us very little he has more upside than most, no point getting rid of him.

Yeah I reckon we could use our Dev and T&T contracts better for our advantage.
