I hope this has no truth just like everything else that useless paper prints

Kanaan is very quick, Mikey is scary quick he is sub 10.7 seconds now. Being quick isn't his biggest strength running its being able to change direction at full speed, he has been like that since he was a kid I though other kids would've caught up to him for speed but he was very small till he was 15 then went bang he is well over 6ft now.
I am sure Bronson & Shannon are doing what they can to bring him back to the club. Wouldn't be surprised if from Mikey's perspective, it depends what happens with Makasini & Large. If they commit which we hope they do, it may limit development contracts available to outside backs in '25-'26. We then may not be able to offer any more than the Rorters!

Take out the key words. The deal has stalled, yet to accept ... hint hint Bird is not interested.

How are all of our contract negotiations all of a sudden front and centre of the media....
The last 2 blokes we signed, Not a whisper - now we're signing numpties from the paper again?

Did someone say there's been a change at the board again?

Probably just his manager (Mario Tartak) playing poker with us knowing he has a very strong hand with players at our club. And the ability to help us move on Bud who is in his stable too. I'm just speculating here btw.
Using the Tigers as a Floatie to inflate his price....
Leo Thompson will reportedly not re-sign with Newcastle. Will want to test his value on the open market. Worth a punt imo
Didn't the Knights just get his brother over from NZ Union, Leo is the one they wanna keep - They want the Saifitis gone.... Inflated contracts not much output...

2 years, total as much as 800k. So max 400k a year provided he meets certain benchmarks ie. Most likely 'games played', 'minutes played'.

That's if this is even true. Kinda strange how all players signed didn't get played out in the media at all but Bird was reported to have 'reached out to' us and now his salary hope gets published too. He isn't signing with us.

We need to play the best players we have for the position required. We don't have the luxury of playing the second or third best player there just because they are signed for a longer period. We need to WIN.
I'd agree with that if I saw a significant skill difference between the two. So, if we're deciding between who might shift to #13, which may risk them sticking around, then for long-term plans we need to equally factor in their level of commitment.

The agent is obviously leaking it …there are two parties involved…doesn’t have to come from the club
