Pascoe's Barber offered to give him some Black Stripes for effect!Horse must have liked the new stables after the tour the other day then.
Is it true Aware Superannuation is opening a branch at the COE? Some of the names mentioned in this thread are a concern. There has been plenty of mentions for Tyson Frizell, Reagan Campbell-Gillard, Jack Bird, Dane Gagai.
We could make a great over 30’s team if some of those join Justin Olam, Api, Klemmer etc.
I don’t think the NRL competition is forgiving enough to allow you to succeed with too many over the hill has beens through.
Would rather we go after Jim Dymock to be fair.Would not be surprised if Steve Georgallis returns.
No info just saw pics of him at the 25 year dinner on stage as an old boy and thought maybe the re-connection has sparked something.
That is shame so looks like we are stuck with an overpriced dud in Sullivan unless he can pull his finger out and start playing like he should.![]()
Wests Tigers half-back 'returning to Super League' as new club revealed
Aidan Sezer will return to England to finish his career next season - after reportedly agreeing a deal to join Hull FC in 2025.www.loverugbyleague.com
We do need an experienced head in the forwards to play the role Klemmer was supposed to.Is it true Aware Superannuation is opening a branch at the COE? Some of the names mentioned in this thread are a concern.
That’d be a good look to win over the fans if he signs run out in ya first game with a black white and ginger hair do.Pascoe's Barber offered to give him some Black Stripes for effect!
Thanks for that T_O.(Due thanks to NBWT, from "X")
The 3 x 2025 signings all played last night:
Skelton: 17 runs for 170m, 49 PCM, 3 tackle breaks, 3 offloads
Turuva: 2 tries, 1 line break, 13 runs for 141m, 3 tackle breaks
Luai: 3 try assists, 1 line break, 1 line break assist, 13 runs for 87m, 4 tackle breaks, 4 offloads
Skelton had an average performance, was playing busted for 30 minutes of the clash and still made nearly double the metres that any of our current backs make in a game.(Due thanks to NBWT, from "X")

He played on the wing and was reliable/dangerous all night. Thanks for that T_O.
What position did Turuva end up playing?
That’s good to hear.He played on the wing and was reliable/dangerous all night.
Skelton got injured in the first half, but played on injured, Turuva was really good, Luai was man of the match, Luai and Turuva linked up on the left quite a few times.(Due thanks to NBWT, from "X")

Yes, and as champion @851 said above, was man of the match! That’s good to hear.
Luai played 7 again didn’t he?
Skelton impressed me with a few things. What was obvious is his defence needs work. But his runs out of his own end and offloads are massive. Also he has a lot of skill for a big guy(Due thanks to NBWT, from "X")

Not sure why letting Sezer go means anything about Sullivan. We don't have to keep either of them. That is shame so looks like we are stuck with an overpriced dud in Sullivan unless he can pull his finger out and start playing like he should.
Pretty sure this was a Marshall signing so not great from that POV. $500k per season in reserve grade.
I get that an experienced player may be valuable but that doesn't mean he has to be towards the end of his career. A younger player, better able to cope with the rigours and pace of the game is ideal. Experience can be obtained but aging cannot be reversed. We do need an experienced head in the forwards to play the role Klemmer was supposed to.
We have no alpha in the pack.
