Its really crazy that a manager who has sat in positions of power in this organisation for decades, equates money earnt as the highest indicator of quality.

Whether true or not, it feels as though the vast majority of his comments are motivated by his own/bulldogs self interests. He can publicly praise the hell out of these players so the next round of negotiations he can say something along the lines of "you just need to read what I have said about you all this time to know what I think of you".

His criticisms of the game in general and officiating are similar.

Maybe its tall poppy, maybe I just can't stand the guy.

I think he's a good bloke and a smart fella. He always loved calling Tigers games in the good old days. He's Richo class in terms of footy knowledge. He's a good broadcaster too. I can understand why a lot of people wouldn't like him tho. I think he's done some of his best work ever at the bulldogs lately. Better than what he did at Penrith.

I know that Robbie Farah called him for advice in 2015 when Jason Taylor told Robbie to decline going on tour as an Emu. Gould literally told Robbie to tell JT to get f*#Ck#d. No coach should ever ask that of a player.

Fair enough. Maybe im being harsh on him as a person. Point still stands there is still a perceived or real conflict of interest with his hugely influential media role and his role at the Bulldogs.

He has done outstanding work at the Dogs

What a cracking interview! The kid's replies had me grinning.

We need to hold onto him. I hope we show enough next year for him to be here for a long time.

I don't think Richo is burning through all the cap with the latest signings. Maybe some parked for an upgrade and extension? Fingers crossed.
