Derrick’s on this forum wouldn’t know a good player if he was a foot in front of them. Hunt and Bird slander is an absolute joke before a ball has even been kicked 😂

Needs some work.Hey Demps, it's closer to garbage than it is to top tier. Three of those six should either not be in the team or shouldn't be starters.
Think Klem & Twal both regressed badly this year, if we’re relying on them I hope they are both ripping into the weights room this off-season.Our 2025 pack is potentially;
8. David Klemmer
9. Apisai Koroisau (C)
10. Alex Twal
11. Samuela Fainu
12. John Bateman
13. Latu Fainu
14. Tallyn Da Silva
15. Fonua Pole
16. Royce Hunt
17. Alex Seyfarth
It isn't exactly garbage but it isn't top tier either.
1000%. The exact moment Cronulla lost all momentum on the weekend was when hunt came off. Hes only playing his role deemed by the sharks now and by all background story accounts, he’s a hard worker. Finally someone sees it. Royce is carrying some extra kg because he is purpose built for his role. Fitzgibbon has multiple middles capable of playing big minutes. Hunts role is to shift/gain momentum which he has done multiple times. Sharks don’t lose the middle when he is on. I was actually surprised he was in the 17 because I thought they may go with out and out workers against the storm. His playing weight right now will be different come February. They will find a balance where he is lighter for longer minutes but still big enough to maintain winning his ruck. Whoever has got on that $100 bet you can prepare to spend, easiest $100 you will make, Royce will be great for us
Think he and Pole will carve up off the bench.1000%. The exact moment Cronulla lost all momentum on the weekend was when hunt came off. Hes only playing his role deemed by the sharks now and by all background story accounts, he’s a hard worker.
So all hunt has to do is play more than what 6 first grade games next season and therefore he’ll be better than Sullivan and I’m $100 richer
I know the money isn't endless and we need vacancies in the top 30 but we might add Hetherington from the Broncos and I'd go hard for RCG. That's two of the three replaced and I then could live with Bateman. He'd go better with a good pack around him.Needs some work.
Just don't know where it's coming from.
Bird may replace Bateman.
I'm not buying the RCG hype.I know the money isn't endless and we need vacancies in the top 30 but we might add Hetherington from the Broncos and I'd go hard for RCG. That's two of the three replaced and I then could live with Bateman. He'd go better with a good pack around him.
Really interested to see the starting props. I gotta think Hunt that will be one of them just because of the general talk around his signing. Worried if it’s Hunt and KlemmerThink he and Pole will carve up off the bench.
Both come on at the same time and really get the ball rolling.
That's it .whoever we sign this just need to perform next year when the comp startsDerrick’s on this forum wouldn’t know a good player if he was a foot in front of them. Hunt and Bird slander is an absolute joke before a ball has even been kicked 😂
I think Klem will be a starter all year then off the England come 2026....Really interested to see the starting props. I gotta think Hunt that will be one of them just because of the general talk around his signing. Worried if it’s Hunt and Klemmer
Turuva and Staines not bad cover eitherFullback depth covered by Mason and lualli ? Unfortunately hobbits with poor hands-are miles away from fullback cover given the way the game is played today
I kind of agree and disagree with you about Klem and Alex. I thought Klem’s go forward was down and his defence still very solid. I doubt he gets his go forward back but am happy to keep him as long he continues to secure the ruck.Think Klem & Twal both regressed badly this year, if we’re relying on them I hope they are both ripping into the weights room this off-season.
Jack Bird probably #14 for versatility.
They aren’t the worst players going around but the good sides just have better. Classic plodders. I can’t see us climbing the ladder with them as our props. Be better off finding some smaller guys with a bit more leg speed like Canterbury did this year.I kind of agree and disagree with you about Klem and Alex. Alex was a bit of a puzzle. I thought he was very timid coming back from (yet another) concussion - think he was gone for 4-5 weeks this time. I did note in later games that he looked more confident and started to bend the line a bit more and was more involved. Hope he gets an injury free run as I think he can add value for us as a starter.

I don’t know if those 2 starters can the lay the necessary platform for the others to come into the game and impact it enough.I think Klem will be a starter all year then off the England come 2026....
We wanted Horsbra, so I think we're looking for some one else to start / replace Stef... not sure who will land though.
Otherwise we're sticking with Klem and Twal. I like the idea of the impact props on the bench in Hunt and Pole.
Forgot about him.where have you got bird playing ? centre ?
Not at all man.I don’t know if those 2 starters can the lay the necessary platform for the others to come into the game and impact it enough.
With how Klemmer has ran in particular this past year, we could lose games in the first 25 minutes next season and there would be only so little the bench props can do. I think Hunt has to start because from what I’ve seen he makes great contact In defence and a team like us, we need to win that contact early and I don’t trust klem and Twal to set that early tone

Agreed.Other than Api, of your 5 run-on forwards:
Twal, Klemmer and Bateman wouldn’t make any other side. Latu no idea.
Sam Fainu is good, but if that is our starting 8-13 in 2025, it would have to be the NRL’s worst forward pack.
