You obviously don’t watch too many Penrith games.

That is waaaay too much for a winger. I don't think a winger has ever been on close to that. Won't be able to afford Galvin if we have 1.2M in Luai and that sort of money for a winger, not to mention the other expensive contracts we're carrying for Sullivan, Klemmer, Latu, Bula, Api etc.

If a player like Gal tries to use PNG as a negotiating tool, I’d say off ye pop then, and next offer is less. I’m no fish.
But a player like Olam, then that’s different. Will they have Bennett as their first coach? Otherwise I don’t see PNG as a major threat in the market like the fins, and right now after the rubbish and injuries Olam put out this year I’d happily say off ya pop.
With PNG something will be done to convince players to play up there, e.g they might be given a 50% higher cap than the rest of the NRL teams. Otherwise I agree with you that they will find it difficult to recruit from other teams.

Earlier this week he was on the news stating that he was going nowhere and how he was committed to the Panthers, it's sometimes hard to believe whether a footballer is lying or not (I suppose this only occurs when they open their mouth)!!
