Anyone who is worried about, or doesn't know how to identify, a rip, has no business in the ocean at all.
Stick to pools.
We've been surfing D.I. for eons.
Unless there's a monster swell rolling in with a fair bit of East in it, it's normally a pancake and perfectly safe to swim.
The trouble is that rip areas almost always look smoother and the best place for novices to swim.
Flat as a swimming pool here on the beach in Nha Trang as darkness falls and happily reading that WT likely have an extra $450k cap space to spend over the next two seasons upon restructuring the Bateman deal.
