2024 Dally M Awards

Noticed Wests Tigers not a mention anywhere not even a red carpet interview
No rookies .Did we poll any points .Turbo got points for losing to the tigers at LO
When was our last Dally M award for a position .Any award since David Nofoaloma winger of the year 2020 ? A Western Suburbs Magpies junior and 100 tries for the tigers
What a shame ? Hope whereever he is he's doing ok

Let me be the first to say - suck shit Teddy!!

He did not have a Dally M worthy season - and it is a pox on the game that Jahrome Hughes needed to sweat the final round - and that Dearden beat out our man Luai for 5/8th!

Lots of old white fellas voting for these awards!!
The fact that drinkwater, turbo, burton and hammer polled so many points just shows that judges don't give a shit about picking the right players, they just pick the 'big names' and flat track bullies. It's why recently we've seen some average players like Hynes and Wighton win the dally m in weaker teams

We’re you expecting any?
Galvin likely would have got Rookie, but that’s all that could have possibly happened.

Was Hughes in a weak team?
What point are you making here?

I know it's not the popular opinion on Teddy here - but the bloke has played the game at a very high standard, for a very long time, at all levels of the game.

He really is an amazing player. Age is catching up to him, of course, but that doesn't negate what he has done in his career. So effortless.

I would be the first to acknowledge the NRLW competition's valid contribution to the entire Rugby League season however, the time and exposure afforded to the NRLW at these awards compared to the NRL was totally disproportionate when you compare 27 rounds played Vs 9 and 17 teams Vs 10
As a result there was no time to acknowledge the respective NRL nominees for each position in the team of the year.
I know we are now living in times of equal opportunity and political correctness compared to the past but, these awards like many others have given way to "diplomatic gender-free inclusiveness".

I thought he was done after last year where he wasn't his best, but he really turned it around this year.
