Noffa might find a few teammates hopefullyMost of the dreggs are only around for the next season.
Most won't be resigned.
If they're smart they would fing employment elsewhere soon and extend they're careers

NOEels grant Gutherson permission to speak to rival clubs immediately
Earned it how? They are basically in identical points of their careersBecause one earned it and is a beast among boys and the other is onion large
I wonder if the Roosters went to the NRL and said can you help us keep this kid in the game would they have received support? Call me paranoid but these are the kinds of small advantages that we constantly hear about. They all add up to the kind of results that you collated in the salary cap thread. Smart management yes, but also inequity.I think they should for top line talent.
Weve seen an Origin player and a golden boot winner defect this year. The NRL should have done something to try and keep them.
I dont know whether they should for a kid like Makasini which is where you are going I suspect? Unproven teenagers may be hard to justify.
If he plays well he will get a debut late in the season. My point was if telling a young player they are a chance at making a debut convinces them to stay I don’t see any problems with it if they are good enoughWhere has it been reported he was promised a first grade start, twice that article says "could" but I haven't seen any guarantees or promises.
Starting in RA’s u18 team, Harold Matthews Cup player of the year in 2024, scoring 92 points and finishing as the leading try scorer with 10 tries from as many games. Good resume imo.Earned it how? They are basically in identical points of their careers
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣Would sign him in a heartbeat.
So Manly could have the onion and the BBQ in the halves when DCE retires?Starting in RA’s u18 team, Harold Matthews Cup player of the year in 2024, scoring 92 points and finishing as the leading try scorer with 10 tries from as many games. Good resume imo.
Onion large - hmatt’s teammate to guy above
And under the old unlimited tackle rule. Tactics very different back then, no real urgency to move the ball so Saints were good at holding possession, wearing down the opposition, then a quick try or two and it was all over.Done without a salary cap though yeah?
Congratulations to Jahream Bula who will get married during the off season.

Its why they succeedSomething I found interesting with certain clubs recruitment is that the Roosters have still got 7 spots on their 30 man roster open ......Storm have 6 spots open on their 30 man roster ......we have none I believe .....interesting how the successful clubs think and how we think ....
There was bit of chat a few pages ago about the effectiveness of some of players , in particular the back 3 .
These guys did a season analysis of stats beyond tackles & hitups .
Very interesting listen

Nothing to do with how clubs 'think'.Something I found interesting with certain clubs recruitment is that the Roosters have still got 7 spots on their 30 man roster open ......Storm have 6 spots open on their 30 man roster ......we have none I believe .....interesting how the successful clubs think and how we think ....
Why and how? We care not a successful club, no superstars (Luai not here yet) and players queuing up yo leave.Nothing to do with how clubs 'think'.
Successful clubs have good players queuing up to play for them, youngsters happy to wait for their chance. They have superstars on big money and then fill out the last few roster spots with players on minimum wage. We should be doing the same.
