At this stage, it doesn’t matter what us members and fans think, because it’s been decided by club power brokers that he’s coaching us next year.He knew to, that he inherited a poor lot,
But thinks he can reserec 2005 type of team with different players to the ones we had, And he is on his way to doing that, but for some reason there is a lot of Members that want to sack another coach, and continue the same as we've been going for the last 20yrs. ????
And no one knows or can be sure how he will go.
I think it’s a better squad in many ways but we are still missing critical forward infrastructure. Our depth remains troubled.
I understand the argument about not changing things, but because we have failed, we need or should look to change things.
@Tucker reminded us that Benjis has had a seat at the table for three years and results haven’t gone our way.
To some extent, Benji or not, injuries might define our season one way or the other.
Benji is sure his exposure of youngsters to nrl last season is going to make a very positive impact. Especially mid season when half the side will be on crutches. I think that’s the nub of his case at the moment, or one of his central themes.
It will play out and whatever happens, I hope everyone on the forum is around to see it unfold.
