Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Large may be the heir apparent for tommy turbo.
an if he doesn't progress thru the grade in a hurry, does he [This word has been automatically removed] himself 2 union, who cares.now a comment 4 social media tweets, the kid was always a bum n we r lucky we offloaded him off a dodgy top 30 contract n manly can deal with his tantrums-Sheens seems like he lied 2 the kid -o well

Yeah he is a real decent size for a half be interesting to see if Penrith stick with plan A being Jack Cole or plan B with the Tulagi signing. Does Alamoti stay at centre or move to the wing?
Blaize 5/8, Alamoti centre & 1 of the McLean brothers will be on the wing. Cole maybe on the bench but probably reserve grade

After looking into the players we seem to have lost for next season, and the new players coming in, i still don't think we will be getting out of the bottom 4.
Our so called Junior players coming thru are years of at best if they stay or make it. I just hope the powers to be have a solid list of players that are 1st grade ready as we need to in my eyes start getting active and look what other clubs have been doing for years as it seems to work for them.
Anyway bring on 2030.

No no no.

It was a comment base upon recruitment. It's who they are now.
And Blaize is better. Turuva has had the luxury of being on the end of the best backline in the game for the last quarter century. I’m not denigrating him, but his performances have been 100% skewed because of that fact. If you were to ask which of these players is most likely to turn a game, it would be Talagi every day of the week. But he can’t tackle? Sure ok 😅

Talagi is better than Turuva?

😂😂😂
We will see next year. By that I mean both players have changed teams and we will see who performs and who struggles.

Turuva can clearly land the tries. I reckon he will be a good signing for us. But I want to see us win a few games with him first.

Likewise Talagi, could be awesome for Penrith. OR he could go lazy and be a total dud.

The comparison between players that left and the
players acquired is disingenuous IMO. We have more
recruits coming in, and Papali'i & Stef drove us to
3 spoons so anyone coming in to the team would
likely be an upgrade. I'm happy to sit tight until at
least a fortnight into November when it starts to
get hectic just right before the Xmas break, let's see

Lol.

Step 1 of standard PR spin. Step 2 Mental Health Step 3 Racism. Step 4 - all forgiven.
Yes read a piece from Sam Thaiday , all about Ezra , his health , mental health , stress , not one word about the 3 innocent people in the car Ezra hit head on , unlicensed and on drugs , not one word , Ezra man If his second drug test is positive needs to be rubbed out of the game , The NRL don’t have the nuts to do it but drugs are rife in the nrl and it needs to be cleaned up , harsh punishment fixes shit like this

Do you know what mate? You need to take the L on this one instead of constantly moving the goalposts. I was responding to your claim that our recruitment is already the worst in the comp, which is demonstrably nonsense. I am entirely happy to acknowledge:
1) That some of the players we have recruited may not end up as superstars. Have a look at the list I posted and tell me how many teams won't say the same thing. I bet those Roosters fans are delighted they got Chad Townsend instead of Jarome Luai. How they must be rejoicing in Auckland at the thought of shoring up their pack/spine/back line/reserves with an in-demand superstar such as, er, Kahu Capper. On the other hand, signing Luai ALONE gives us about the best haul of the off season. Add Turuva to that and we've probably done best. Get anything much out of Skelton and Hunt and we've aced the pack.
2) That we have also lost some players. This is not "recruitment", which is what we were discussing. But since you want to play with the goalposts all the way over there: I wholeheartedly agree that whoever gave Utoikamanu that ridiculous contract ought to be fired and if you'd like to discuss further I'm here for it. I'd note, though, that since those people were in fact fired a year ago it might not be a massively enlightening discussion. What the hell it has to do with who we've signed I have no idea.
3) That we came last. Ain't no changing that now, chum. Fortunately we've recruited at least as well as anyone in the comp, which is one of the many, many things we needed to change in order to get out of this mess.

You wanna discuss how terrible the parking is at Leichhardt or how the logo on the training shorts peels off after a few washes? Or can you stay still for a minute and admit that you maybe slightly overstated the point on RECRUITMENT?
Or smoke a J?

Anything more than 300k for this donkey is a fraudulent contract.
Let’s take it to the NRL and make them realise our previous management signed a fraudulent contract of double the players true value, therefore don’t make the current management and club supporters suffer in covering any of the shortfall once we offload him.
Sheens must be getting a kickback for getting this ridiculous contract across the line.
Yeah i dont think the NRL care that Wests Tigers were inept.
Imagine opening that door for all the other clubs?
Get real Vicious lol
