I think Latu has the higher ceiling in the halves. He's a 15 year NRL player.

Galvin could be anything. Literally anything. His greatest strength his how much he's on the ball. That is hard to teach.

I know I danced around your question, but for now, I'd probably lean more towards Latu. In many ways you know what you're gonna get with him into the future. Starting half.

If you build a squad around Galvin being a long term 5/8th and then his growth makes it difficult for him to be effective there, it could present squad balance issues into the future.

A good problem to have and it probably goes without saying we should be moving heaven and earth to keep both if we can.

Mason was 5/8.

Galvin was outstanding on the left edge in the second row. Perfect ball player to set up players inside & out.

Tigers HAVE to get their best players on the field, and Latu Fainu is one of their best.

Hetherington has a brilliant tackle technique, will run hard. He will lead line speed and chases hard on kicks. I would love to get him here. He won’t break the bank. He is that no nonsense mongrel we need. I will be shocked if he isn’t here next year. I too hope we land Terrell May. Has a little bit of everything in his game. He immediately makes our pack better. Just on Romey, how refreshing is it to have our marquee man be so pumped and positive to come here. During the season plenty of reporters tried knocking him on coming here but he not once didn’t have a positive response.

I think shocked … as Kobe isn’t a starter in the broncos pack, but with the Tigers, he could very well be. If media dribble is correct, his manager wants/believes his client is a starter.

I would have Hetherington at 13, rotating with Sione & Latu for a point of difference. Push Bird to an edge with Seyfarth as cover. Hunt & Pole Impact. May to start with Klemmer or Twal.

I think shocked … as Kobe isn’t a starter in the broncos pack, but with the Tigers, he could very well be. If media dribble is correct, his manager wants/believes his client is a starter.

I think Walters got it horribly wrong not playing Kobe and imo a contributing factor in why Broncs had a terrible season.

Sorry, no. There used to be some very informative posters with salary cap bits of info. Not sure if we have a salary cap thread but keeping the ever shifting landscape of salary cap decisions and amounts would be great.

this article regarding Sullivan indicates that the club has every intention of signing both Hetherington and May but are in need of clearing out both roster spots and cap space to get it done.

the fact that we’re keen to pay half of both Bateman and Sullivan’s salaries says it all.

Penrith paid considerable dollars to get rid of the likes of RCG, Whare and DWZ to create room for the kids and put the broom thru culturally.

looks as if we’re about to do the same.

It does go against our cap but will be dependent on how it's agreed as to when it's spread over - can be any combination of 1,2 or 3

Crap , just sent him back to the lowest grade and keep him on the bench untill he agrees to leave , after two years without football he will never play again
