in order for the skills matrix to be developed, finalised and released, both HBG and WT needed to sign the legal agreements required to confirm the changes to the corporate governance of WT.

with the matrix going out and the independent director recruitment process now underway, it means that these legal documents have been signed, therefore removing WT from the dumpster fire that is the Holman Barnes Group.

What is changing exactly? HBG still have directors on the WT board. HBG appoint who the independent directors are. They still control everything.

We don't know what is involved in the matrix or how Romero may have changed it.

Nothing has changed yet and we are very far from being removed from HBG.

I’m just thankful all these members are no longer on the west tigers board and we have in a way become our own entity.
This is why we have won 3 wooden spoons in a row. Thank god we got the change we were asking for last year!

I still think the fact we didn't win enough games the main reason we have won 3 spoons

I don’t really worry to much about the body if there’s something really special under the hood. Now I only know what I’ve read about Dennis but note he’s been around for quite a while, and if people present like him , for so long, they must have something.
But I’d really like to know his achievements( as well as the others) coz the proof of the pudding is in the eating. !
Can anybody provide some feedback on Directors achievements ? If it exists ?

No way, mate. She's middle management at an insurer. Managing P&L... bro, that's lower-level stuff. It's just a bit confusing with the word salad. But when you have to talk about the company's size, rather than the size of your role, that's a red flag.

I'm more qualified than her and don't think I have the right to be in that chair.

David Gilbert is by FAR the most qualified on that board.

(Or had family and some mates that did) 50 years ago.

I reckon they’d struggle to run a country footy canteen this mob, yet they think they can run a multi-million dollar professional sporting team. The results we see on the field should come as no surprise to anyone. Instead of spending their time increasing the resources of the long suffering footy department they’re running around trying to win some childish power game. Shame.

Sell the club.
