Have we all cooled on Bullemor? Isn’t he off contract as of now? Could be a good alternative to Hetherington as a Manly Bateman swap?

Id still go for him. Dont think he's re-signed / gone other places. A good solid and simple forward- nothing wrong with him while the young'uns develop further without as much pressure

I fear that Bullemor would fade into the faceless forward crowd, much like he did at the Broncos & Manly.

Don't get me wrong- he can play. But he never stands out. We are already loaded up with faceless forwards. With the "war chest" available- the Tigers need to bring in a handful of difference makers.

Bullemor is in the NRL as a second job. He is employed in Funds Management. His commitment would be my concern.

Lol - Galvin is going to be one of the greatest of all time.

He will be wasted on an edge. Wade Graham and Fulton won't even come close to tying one of his shoes.

My guess is -- he will re-invent the 5/8th role.

And he will become the first, athletically dominant, ball playing 5/8.

He will be like if you combined Munster with Yeoh with Cleary.

He wants the ball in his hand every tackle.

If he's on an edge he wont see the ball that much.

And if he's a lock and plays in the middle like Yeoh he will do too much tackling and wont play two wide of the ruck like a 5/8.

I know that's a huge prediction -- but that's what I think.

He will be the Tom Brady of the NRL.

The guy who was told he was too small, has a chip on his shoulder, was given up by Parra for $5K, wants to win every game, is humble and smart, loves watching the game, loves playing the game, and wants to win more than anything in the world, and wants to be the man calling the shots.

With all due respect, I’m not believing anyone saying we can’t win it. Given our current forward pack which is looking likely to get even weaker in 25, and given our coaching staff who are still not good, we are a good bet for 17th.

Is it very likely ? Only 1 team in 116 years of nswrl/nrl has won more then 3 spoons in a row and that was the Eels in late 50s, early 60s. So despite all the horrible teams none have come last. I'd suggest it's almost impossible for us to come last again

Just looked at the pre season training shots posted today on tigers web site , can’t see one player sweating it up , and to many smiling faces , Broncos look like they are going to pass out on tv up in qld , getting flogged , our guys look like it’s a fun day out , I want to see pain , we were so unfit last season it was a joke , harden them up already

Benji is the coach, and if Bateman doesn't get along with our coach it is not up to Benji to bend over, it's up to Bateman to do as Benji needs.
If he can't get on with his coach that's his problem.

So the senior players who coaches and ceo say they need to lead the young can’t have a say , please wait till Luai arrives , if he say Be hi we need to do this or that I gotta feeling it will be done , same goes for players in the team , if Luai says piss him off I feel it will be done , Bateman should be able to express his concerns with out petty shit from coaches .

I’m hopeful that two things may occur.

1- our forwards are better because our outside backs will actually do some dirty work
2- Richo still has a couple of recruitment cards to play.

Given that, Benji might not be fully cooked.

Depends how that say is presented, arguing with the coach in the sheds after the game is probably not the way to present that opinion.

Ultimately I think that was the blow up of some on going issues between the pair so it is really hard to know who was at fault.
