The 2024 record was better than 2023 & 2022.

If there is improvement again in 2025, there's an argument to be made that we are seeing progress.

For mine, it's clear that the coaching staff needs to work on defence. In only 2 seasons since Ivan Cleary was here (including the Cleary season) the club has only scored more points than Benji's 2024 points tally twice.

Our defence was the worst it has been EVER, including the Terry Lamb years.

We cut the points scored by a third- we are off the bottom of the table. Cut it by half- we are talking the Golden Years of 9.

500 points against. The absolute focus should be on staying below 500 points against for the season.

There’s only one way to think. He’s proven absolute zero and has nothing on his coaching resume. There aren’t many topics on the forum that are 100% fact, but that is one of them. No one can rationally argue against that. The fact we are going to go through the motions of another pre-season with him in charge proves we are an unserious club.

Our roster was bent out of shape in around 2017 and we’re only just recovering. The shift back to a development focus in around 2022 was probably the right move but comes with significant pain attached.

The main perpetrators are gone.

Does anyone know if we are a realistic chance at May ? You’d think we are ahead of the dragons , if the story of not really liking the eastern suburbs lifestyle is true .
I feel like luai could have real sway on this .

I don’t know the guy, I’d be more inclined to trust Richo based on his years of transforming clubs.

He said himself in a press conference if he thinks it’s best for the club he’ll walk. Bottom four would probably end in that decision in my mind.
