It kinda worked out well nothing came of the England trip we wouldn't have had the spot available to sign May. In Richo we trust. Richo gets football, Benji has got his players, no excuses lets bloody compete for the 8 next season.

I liked Twal when he first got here, he didn’t miss a tackle for six weeks when we were missing tackles for fun.
It took about a year for him to pass the ball, and someone said he had an offload when he was a junior, but dead set he has not improved in 100 games. And I still don’t count those “fall in ya lap” tries.
The only thing going for him is min wage and if he was the worst forward on the roster playing reggies then ok.
But we need better and should look to upgrade his position next year.

PS, I must have back him to score a try every game between games 50 and 100, (thinking this plodder must score soon), and a ball falls in his lap on game 105 or something? 🤦‍♂️

Twal seems to have hit his ceiling.

More potential with Seyfarth who is hitting his prime years. Twal isn't good enough to start really and lacks impact off the bench I fail to see a path forward with him being in the team.

This 12 minute BS on Hunt has to stop. It's bordering on hysterics.

He had 6 games of less than 20 minutes on the field

He had 13 games of 20 minutes to 40 minutes.

I'm glad he wasn't signed to be our #1 prop.

But he's going to play 10-15 minutes each half. Basically, Sione Fainu's minutes last season.

And on the subject of minutes- as much as May is a great signing, he's not an 80 minute prop. He did that once or twice. He's a 50 minute a game prop. Perfect, for injecting Hunt, Pole, Fainu etc in to give him a rest & get some impact.

The jury is still out as to whether Benji can coach. One thing that is not is his pull especially with the Polynesian boys, i think he can relate to them as he has come from not much and made it. I haven’t been so excited for a season in years!! The finals drought is about to end, Luai will be up there and hopefully better than the Scott Prince and Garreth Ellis signings!

Yes ur 100% right , but are we going to be able to pick up one , I doubt it , all in if we can offload him and get a good backrower, but just saying swap him , leaves us in the same spot

lol he was part of those who were grilled for putting on weight in the off season and coming back less fit.
