If we're one of the clubs looking at Cobbo, id probably want to hold my powder dry until we find out whats going on with May in March. If he's able to play i think i'd prefer him, tbh i think part of getting Terrel was contingent upon us being able to offer him something if he does become available.
Either one of Cobbo or Staggs will become available... we should be chasing whoever comes onto the market

I think it was more that he actually signed a blooming contract and put it in a desk drawer. If it's just a handshake, it's a very different story.

In 2025 AD is what every one wants in their roster. A cheap experienced versatile player. Okay he has issues in defence, but for a guy on a very modest contract he is good to have on the books. Sadly we need roster spots so he is probably the most likely to get a nibble. If we were paying him 500g it would be completely different. Okay unlikely to get in the first up 17 but when injuries and suspensions hit he is better than players we have used in the past on the same coin
I really don't understand this. If he can't tackle it doesn't matter how cheap he is, he'll lose you games.

There is a report saying they are going to get around the cap by offering him a job after football and thereby paying him less on the cap. Apparently can be done under NRL transition to retirement plan. Nothing to see here.
