OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

Seems like the whole world is forgetting the video where Roosters players
were (more than a little obviously) doing the wrong thing.
One of them was recently released for seemingly no reason, and the other is now on the chopping block as well....

I think if Smith wasn't injured - He'd be gone already....
Yeh good point. I doubt the Roosters were crazy about the party boy culture they were building.

Im sure that incident has a lot to do with all this...youre right many do seem to have forgotten.....either intentionally or not
The media in particular showed how gutless they are once Uncle Polite one issued his lawsuit threat

So what's the conversation about Taylan May, he's been stood down until March 2025 is the word he is coming here if he gets off the charges?

Doubtful. How could you possibly add that into negotiations when everyone knows there is no roster space available for him.

Not saying that it is going to happen or if there has been any negotiations, but there is no roster space currently available for Sione Fainu but it would appear that there have been some sort of negotiations with him and it appears that he has opted to take a Train & Trial deal until a roster spot frees up.

I'm sure he would rather stay here with his brothers and I'm pretty sure Taylan May would have some sort of desire to play with his older brother if there is any possibility of his NRL career being resurrected sometime in the future.

Doesn't mean that you can't sound out someone and say that you are interested in signing them some time down the track if circumstances change.

A lot of things can happen between now and next March.

Alot can happen. We'll find someone to take Bateman, Naden, Tumeth, Saukuru or Sullivan, and then Fainu will be upgraded. It's a formality.

Because signing brothers, who are hard to manage has worked so well for us?

Benji isn't ready.

We have a junior coach. Avoid problem signings. Bateman is too difficult for Benji, Taylan May will break him.

It's pretty easy to lay the boot in to some of these guys for how they behave but most would never have experienced an upbringing like they did.

Agreed, though any player in a club system for years has subsequently had enough education to know better, so no excuses for things such as assault, whether physical or sexual.

Agreed everyone makes their own decisions but it's not always as simple as that. On the positive, it seems Terrell might be rough around the edges but has the right attitude.

Its strange how these kids get seen as Gods, some shining light for new world morality,or are some of us just peeved that in a way we can see their on easy street considering they put in just as much effort as us for multiple $$$$.Island gangsters that Nana makes them go to church.lol plz.The world is getting whackyer by the day.VaLandys is dragging the game sooner or later, in to the future.NO DH 's at the Tigers please, just not a good look - plenty of kids out there that wont drag the club thru the dirt - Galvin gives me a woody/sort of

Whilst I think he is a great prospect at prop, listening to his podcast he said he was playing 80 minutes at 120kg for Blacktown in KOE along with being taught to pass both sides from a young age by his father which would be ideal for a lock with the ability to pass both ways confidently.
He plays at 108kg now at 6'3 , so I am glad we have got him and hope that he buys into the culture change that is needed.

Interestingly he said he would sign for a team that would include his brothers or at least one of them which may indicate Taylan might be offered a contract dependent on what transpired with his court hearing.

Only concern is he does seem to fall out of love with the game which is a known fact and he mentions it a few times but if we can get some wins and Romey keeps him focused we could see great results with Tyrell
