Not at all . It’s literally in your handle . Pining for the days of the magpies . It’s sad ! And it’s even crazier that you don’t even understand why you’re pining for something that hasn’t been around in 25 years . Do you not ask yourself that ? Like others have said ? Do you not ask yourself why your allegiances are what they are ?
It’s always a feeling . Like when we won in 05 . We all are chasing that feeling again . But the chase of that feeling , for most us , is an inclusive one .
You pining for the return of the magpies , at the expense of everyone else or 99% of the fanbase , is the opposite of that !
The selfish wishes of old men …

Can't get a handle on my handle huh.

Only had it 20 years.......proud of why I support the Wests Tigers.

As for the rest of your post sounds like maybe how you feel....

No offence.

Get the recommendations put in place and this club will be more stable than it has ever been. Time to remove the old factions that have been holding the club back and put in place a structure that sets us up for success.

Not necessarily against the recommendations but don't agree it will make the club sounder structurely.

Somebody mentioned today can't remember who, how they feel that the governance changes are a step towards ownership changes.

Seems we have moved a fair way forward from the mere review recommendations sadly.

That's what I was afraid of.

No . It’s based on the things you say my guy . but if it’s the “I know you are., you said you are “ response then cool bro .
Like I said every few weeks you need that hit of dopamine .

Sounds like projection.
Urgh! it’s the same shit . Rather than see reason , we now move into the childish space . I’m not going with you dude . Good luck in your bubble , with anyone else who hasn’t moved past 1999.
I’ll see you in a few months when your posting insanity annoys me enough to reply …

Not part of what is happening at all. That is why the new structure has the ownership group still having seats on the board, to be honest a lot of your posts come across as fear mongering.

Of its own the implementation of the reviews recommendations aren't a problem......the fluid situation created is what has caused some issues.

Plenty have moved on to calling for ownership changes as part of the process.

My posts are only reactions.

Never in 20 years on here have I started banter on Wests/Balmain or political runctions.

But I do react to such.

The Holman Barnes Group are the only ones that can change the ownership structure so once again you raising an issue that just doesn't exist.

I agree.

Given events, obviously some feel perhaps giving up that much control isn't in the owners best interests.

This creates a situation that can mean a sell off, or a wrestle back of control or more.

Maybe not but none of this was in play previously.

Can't say too much more under the circumstances.

The Board of the Wests Tigers will not be able to sell the club, the HBG will still own the majority of the club. None of your arguments are based in reality.

I agree.

I think everything would've proceeded smoothly but events around the recent BDRLFC and leaked email have caused problems.

After that and everything else that's happened and being said recently
It may be that HBG feels sufficiently sidelined to look to sell it.

It's tough articulating a coherent post given the sensitivity of the matter in a public forum.

I am looking forward for things to settle, and am hopeful that the suspended directors are reinstated.

I think Shane can play no small part in this.

And am hopeful that the HBG continue to offer stability to our club with enhancements to performance to make us an inclusive powerhouse.

The owners are not private owners. You talk about best interest like it's theirs. A club is there to serve a community and sporting clubs. As long as they still have WT board dissolutionment power, then they should want the best possible board for the strength of the brand and the community. That's the best outcome and the best interest for the members and community they serve.

If they want to keep a check and balance on the financials when reaching a threshold, that is very easily added to the constitution.

What BDRLFC had to say is borderline irrelevant, they have no money, no power and no influence.

There actions are a big reason why these changes are so important.

Continue to offer Stability?
This club has been anything but....

The only concerned Parties that think they've been doing a good job - Is them!!
Most of them are so far out of their depth it's frightening.
