I don't think anyone is doubting his ability in attack at centre. It's his defence that is the concern. Here is some attacking highlights of Turuva playing right centre from the 2021 NSW Cup season. Yes 3+ years ago.

Yep. Buzz adds a Tigers tax to try to make his stories interesting, every time.Funny you mention that. I’ve noticed Bateman’s salary has gone up from 550k reported a while back to 750k.
Surely even senile Sheens wasn’t dumb enough to pay him more than Api.
Come on man. Media reports of salaries are pretty sketchy.
Brooksy’ pay was going up 10% each quarter.
I can’t see how WT win his signature at that value.
All good, in a few months the papers will have him on 600 and we’ll agree 👍well.,, I’m going to go with what they say in the absence of anything else … or people’s ‘gut feels’…

100%. And old tomato head will be writing about how our cap’s out of whack because we signed too many Penrith players. Never mind the Sharks million dollar flop in the halves.ok …let me know when thst happens … he will probably be back on the wing by then 😂

If we scored Turuva for between 400-450 then Richo & Binge are even better than I thought. Hope you’re right. He is a DH…but he is not the only journalist in town…. Some have more truthful info than others …
And fullback. My assumption is we paid over wingers money due to his versatility.I don’t think Turuva has a position set in stone. I can see him shifting between wing and centre at different stages of the year.
I reckon it will depend on who trains better in the off season. If there’s a great centre option than he’ll play wing if there’s a better wing option he’ll play centre. And fullback. My assumption is we paid over wingers money due to his versatility.

its on the official websiteDoes any 1 have a link to the full press conference from yesterday I cannot find it anywhere?
I'm always hopeful, but this time I'm optimistic for the first time in many years.
The recruitment Richo has over seen with Benji this year, mind you Richo hasn't been at the Tigers for a full year yet, till next month. It is night and day compared to the trash we were used to dealing with. Richo has achieved this in 11 months. In another 2 years we will have a team that the rest of the comp will be drooling over. This has been the biggest off-season for signings in our history. When Sheens signed Prince, Hodgeson and the rest of the guys we built our premiership around the Tigers were nowhere in as much of a hole we are in now. Can't imagine what Richo will be able to bring to the club once we start seeing some regular success.I know Richo has said it before but a team needs the cream. 7-8 juniors & the hard workers.
They have a 3 year recruitment plan & I take out of that they still have a few moves they want to complete.
I assume the positions identified are centre, 2nd row & possibly lock.
You can't be anything but optimistic watching that press conference.
Bateman is the obvious next chip to fall this year with Sione getting an upgrade.
One thing I am interested in is the outcome of the board & breach notices.
Overall it's a very balanced squad with depth across the park, YES, I acknowledge some depth is weaker than others but it's a massive improvement from 2 years ago going in to Round 1 with Wakeham & Brooks etc...
