Panic stations over Luai’s clause are silly. This is normal these days with top halves, you only have to look at Parra who have these sorts of clauses for both their halves.

It’s only really problematic if we continue to run near the bottom, in which case he’s not much different to Brooks, Hastings, Sezer etc. and not worth 1.2 large.

Come on Ink, we need to be positive. Really, we've never looked better and the blokes we've recruited, on the surface, appear to be the type every club needs. I'm not fussed about most of the juniors coming through to be honest, but Makasini, Johannssen, maybe Sukkar, maybe Matamua...that's all we need to be an ultra competitive side.

Luai has come to the Tigers to make a name for himself instead of constantly sitting behind Cleary. It wouldn't be a good look if he bailed after 2 years. He has the potential to be a hero if he turns this club around and his legacy would be forever remembered. I'm backing him in.

To be fair they are looking to lock in Galvin in the next few months.

And now that the initial shock has worn of, we are still guaranteed luai for 2 years

Worst case scenario we have him for 2 years.

In which case it solves our dilemma and we have Galvin and fainu in the halves
