OFFICIAL Jordan Miller #289

Indeed, mentioned it in an earlier thread Ant Gallant
Needs to keep these guys away from football. SW
Sydney is low economical, should be enough of a
motivator for the youngins to get out of the cracks
they found themselves in but nothing/nobody is perfect.

The club hasn't provided any information about this and they are not required to explain the full details of what's happened to fans.
Sure but in the absence of information fans can only speculate and comment on what’s available. Whether the club owes an obligation to be more transparent with the fans who essentially fund the club is a separate question.

In regards to the prospective or actual terminating of an employee they'd need to tread very carefully and have likely been advised to release no information publicly.

If a player or their legal representative wishes to bleat about it in the media or other forums that's on them.

I wonder if Lee will be acting for him at the arbitration and then maybe in court ?
Arbitration is binding on both parties - so there is zero possibility of further court based litigation on the matter once the independent abritrator makes their ruling!

And the ruling will be confidential.

While Brydens is representing Miller - Lee will be part of his legal team but he is not a trial lawyer or workplace law specialist by any stretch of the imagination and definitely won't be lead counsel at arbitration!

But Lee has never seen a conflict of interest that he didn't want to make a quick buck off!!

ok… the article says differently about the arbitration being the end of the line ..but I’ll take your word for it 👍

Legal Process 101:

When a formal dispute of this nature has been lodged - the relevant tribunal/court automatically refers the parties to mediation with an independent mediator to enable both parties to negotiate a mutually agreed resolution if possible.

If the dispute cannot be resolved through that mediation process - then it is referred for arbitration by a mutually agreed independent abritrator... the arbitrator's decision is final and legally binding!
