I'm still peeved they pushed reserve grade off tv - bah humbug, up until 3 yrs ago it was a better game than the mens. Watched Upton became a star ,SOO at Nth Syd Oval, better, because they played like we did as kids, now they just wrestle/get in the face of the ref.Boring

Not polished, you see them fail to execute basic skills that kids learn in under twelves.

They’ve commercialised it too soon and it’ll be interesting to see if it kicks on. Crowds would have to be a concern, it’ll depend how TV ratings trend into the future.

Anyone who takes to an NRL pitch (males) has dedicated years of their life and sacrificed a great deal to reach that level. They’re in the top <0.001% of all who tried to play the sport.

There’s a big difference.

I really don't want to get dragged into this but you're being a bit disingenuous here. I'm not terribly interested in NRLW, I'm not ashamed to admit it and I would be stunned if anyone called me sexist for it. I do, however, vaguely know who my club's most famous women's player is. I'm a member so I get club communications, I've been to the website, I even went to an NRLW game - it wasn't for me, but as a follower of the club it would be pretty hard at this stage to have completely missed everything about the women's team.

The thing is youre not accepting responsibilty....it wasnt because shes gone to another club, it wasnt because you brought her up

It was questoning another members support becuase he didnt have time to devote to our WNRL team...that was quite OTT

Theres very little if any wrestle in the womens game, thats one good thing about it.
not that I watch a lot of it
I watch the Origin and some reps and watched our last two games this season against Saints & Sharks I think which werent bad, exciting as we hadnt wone for yonks

If I was to be really picky, I may suggest you might have put that news in the dedicated NRLW thread so the few people that are interested can make comment.

In yesterday’s news in the UK …

But Nsemba, speaking to the Daily Mail, insists that right now, he only has one thing he wants to do: represent Wigan Warriors and repay their loyalty.

“The NRL were interested, but I wasn’t interested,” he said. “It’s nice to get recognition and people be interested in me, but when the staff are looking after you at a club like Wigan, it’s a loyalty thing.”
 
I just want to say I love coming back here after a long day at work. Whether it’s readijg through sanity or the opposite (or in between) and pages of stuff to catch up on, I look forward to this place every day. The characters on here are so bloody good, I have been critical in the past, but this is a healthy and well run place. Like so many seasons gone - and after I joined in 2009, there are so many things to look forward to in 2025 🙏🙏🤪 Hasn’t served me well to get hopes up for a while of course. But my 7 year old son, while a determined qld’r (Brissie based and we negotiated) is a tigers man and watches games with me now and learning that losing is a lesson - not one I hope he has to endure for another 13 years! I remember joining this forum - and I was in Fiji with the ex wife! … no Fiji chat please guys / gals and it it was defacto no kids 🤪 I made her come to the nadi gold club to watch the game where it was only hosted on the island - it was the hayne plane and benji show in that incredible game which we lost but what a game it was! Anyway, I love this place and the banter and don’t have a whole lot to add. Just privileged to have this place as a switch off and some me / fun time when I can. Cheers team.

supporter (the poor child) or you calling your 7 year
