It will be interesting as I imagine Latu will be 14 in round 1. We will get to see them both at DH and I think Latu will get some time at lock as well.

Latu covering Api does not in any way prepare him to be our potential full time 7. Neither does him covering halves, lock or centre. He needs focus on driving a team.
TDS will be the first choice hooker within 3 years. We will then have a 22 year old, 12+ year player who has been developed correctly.
Latu could be our first choice 7 within a shorter time frame if he is managed correctly.
It’s hard to hold these young blokes back, but they and the club will reap the benefits for years if management does it properly.
Now maybe I’m off course thinking the club want Latu to be a long term halfback. Maybe they wish to change him from a half to a hooker like Melbourne did with Cam Smith….we’ll see once they unveil their strategies at the selection table I suppose.

Mate... Blackouts are a real thing and stillnox is notorious for it.

Even on enough booze alone peoeple can black out and do stuff they've no recollection of later... Many doing long stretches inside would be in this group I've heard some horrific stories

I’ve been very, very, very, high Ink, and for long periods.
I call BS he doesn’t remember that night.

Who said the long term plan is for him to be a 7? He has never been a 7.

Well that mite be your own disposition, and good luck to u. I myself during my twenties had a few nights out l when all I remember was waking up in my bed the next morning! No recollection on most of the nite before, let alone how I got home. Didn’t happen that often as I didn’t like it. But it did happen.

I’ve done it a few times but I wasn’t fortunate enough to wake up in my bed haha
I’ve woken up in the city on the streets of kings cross.
I’ve woken up in a car park across the road from the apartment I was staying at.
It’s not much fun haha

Agreed. That’s like Douhei saying I’m a 5/8. Yeah you think you are but you’re not going to play there champ with us.

Last time I looked there is guy called Jerome Luai we’ve signed for 5 years. Pretty sure he will be our 7 for a while - a long while.

Latu needs first grade experience. Regardless of the position. He’s not going to wait around for Luai to leave to play 7.

He’s a perfect utility and needs to get use to that. The only way he will play in the halves is if there is an injury or someone leaves.

Look, whatever man, I have said many times my opinion on Lodges situation and how the NRL are piss weak.

But just let me get his defence straight; today I might go get fully high, do something stupid that causes others pain and injury, then just blame it on the drugs. Generally I’m a good person so it’s ok bcoz I blacked out too.
Sweet defence, I’m gunna use it the next time I get caught for a home invasion.

Buttfaced smartass sarcasm aside, I reckon the stupid shite you blacked out on might not be as significant as stalking, home invasion, beating people, etc. 🤷‍♂️

People here (being sincere) probably wouldn't talk
to me if they heard about some things I've done or
been accused of TBH. While drugs aren't an alcohol
aren't an excuse they are a factor, it's precisely why
magistrates consider these things pre-sentencing.

For me, Packers situation was way worse yet the
game let him back in. Paid his dues, got degree etc.
Some people live in glass houses, some got skeletons
in their closet & some people are good ike Ned Flanders,
but I've come 2 find most people are just hypocrites
