Did you include your membership number? 😂Wrong...you are called a member because you purchase a MEMBERship just as I did During Oct. of this year, not that it means much, as I emailed Richo twice about a month ago and I never received as much as an acknowledgement that my email had been received by him, or anyone else for that matter.
What was the purpose of the review?Crawford was CFO of the NRL , and Barnier has conducted corporate reviews as a job . That’s ridiculous! It’s because of Barniers love for the club that they were even interested in the first place .
It was an external review ? It was meant to not include those within the walls . That’s the point . All bar 3 people were people in the industry or previous board members. It’s not like it was 10 blokes sitting around at the pub .
See above .
They were shit for years . Pascoe should have been fired when the Farah thing happened .
They just went through a review , which culminated in the hiring of Benji and Sheens , and Betsy and the restructuring around junior development and recruitment strategies .
By the way that’s great leadership . “It’s not us it’s them” Screams a really good leadership .
When you’re in a position of leadership , everyone who screws up is your responsibility. Either to be accountable , or behaviour manage or whatever .
In that whole email from Julie I read nothing of accountability of a board who’s overseen a club that was once the darling of the league , turning into one of the biggest laughing stocks RL in Australia has ever seen .
It’s laughable that with every level of the football department , down and all through the club being turned over , that she would even have the audacity to mention another review of the football department as a potential alternate solution .
How does a former CFO of the nrl , and a businessman who specialises in corporate reviews not have qualifications to conduct a review ? Seriously what qualifications are required to conduct a review of the governance of a football club ?What was the purpose of the review?
Was it expected to uncover obvious organisational misbehaviours which could improve governance? If so then why would Benny Elias be interviewed? Why would they not interview the club’s decision makers including the HBG board?
Why get a couple of friends of the club to carry out the review?
It’s ridiculous for the HBG to now weasel out of implementing the review’s recommendations, even considering Crawford and Barnier had no qualifications to do such a review.
You’re confusing qualifications with experience. If they were qualified in organisational development it would have been the first thing we heard.How does a former CFO of the nrl , and a businessman who specialises in corporate reviews not have qualifications to conduct a review ? Seriously what qualifications are required to conduct a review of the governance of a football club ?
What? So you’re saying they should have hired a corporate consultant who specialises in organisational development and restructuring? Isn’t that what These guys do ? I’m pretty sure it’s the business the former together …You’re confusing qualifications with experience. If they were qualified in organisational development it would have been the first thing we heard.

No keep it MM. You and everyone else can call yourselves whatever you like. Just pointing out the dishonesty in BZN’s comparison. We should be proud of our heritage but right now there’s a need for unity, this is a Wests Tigers forum for Wests Tigers fans.Should I change my 20 year username?
And what of people who have Balmain in their username?
Every board member of the HBG participated in the review, except one, who didn't make time to meet with the review team.What was the purpose of the review?

This is the problem I have right here. I understand it’s a journo’s article so could be incorrect, but then have a direct quote from Julie Romero stating “be true to the review”.HBG have presented concerns re the review including;
perceived lack of independence of reviewers Crawford and Barnier;
A fear that recommendations were based on opinions, not fact – and changes shouldn’t be made on opinion;
That a large portion of people interviewed were not from within the Wests Tigers, raising questions over the relevance of their opinions;
That key people (including Romero, former Wests Tigers and Balmain director James Myatt, then Wests Magpies chairman Shannon Cavanagh, Tigers employees, sponsors and the No.1 ticket holder, (Peter Binet of Binet Homes) were not interviewed.
That discussions of potential replacements for Pascoe a
and Hagipantelis were premature;
That the decision to not scrutinise the football operations of the Wests Tigers, which was the key area of ongoing failure, was a significant omission from the scope of work.
With the exception of;
That discussions of potential replacements for Pascoe and Hagipantelis were premature....
Hard to disagree with their assessments.
Trouble is they needed to have acted earlier
People power my friend , people power , they both need to go and it will happen , if this turns into a shit show the NRL. Will step inYou maybe able to get Dennis off the WT board but thats about it. WT will only get away from this nonsense when or maybe i should say IF the full recommendations of the review are implemented and HBG don't hold controlling power on the WT board.
He’s certainly got some miles out of his 15 minutes (literally) at the end of Masters Apprentices hasn’t he…Burgess has lost any I respect I had for him as a director or even as a member of an iconic Aussie rock group all thanks to his treatment of Rick Wayde & the other ex Magpie men who have now moved on and want a bright successful future of a united JV a united Wests Tigers.
No qualifications? Are you serious?What was the purpose of the review?

This is pretty strong talk.
Yuh wanna "make it personal". Sounds like threatening language to me.
Then you claim Burgess has been anti Wests Tigers for as long as we have existed.
To say this, you must have inside knowledge, and you actually know that for a fact.
Then you hope the other 3 get thrown under the bus.
This is equivalent to the great Alan Jones saying Julia Gillard should be put in a chaff bag and dumped at sea...just disgusting talk coming from a bat.

Dennis was never a great musician however just hammering over his short stint in the Masters is wrong. He was in a few garage/psychedelic bands in the 60s - one of them The Throb had a couple of hit singles. He played with quite a few iconic Aussie musos during the 60s. I don't know why people keep bagging him over his previous musical life as it has nothing to do with his crappy management skills.He’s certainly got some miles out of his 15 minutes (literally) at the end of Masters Apprentices hasn’t he…
He’s the blip about 2/3’s of the way down at the very end of the time line 😂😂View attachment 18837
