Does anyone in here know much about cars ? Are Hyundai any good ?
if you trust your gut felling go with it ,if its brand new you cant really go wrong unless you get bullied with finance. Some one like you that is happily playing with money can just spend a day out playing the dealers off against themselves,to gauge an offer where they are just happy for a small take to fuss about a sale

Like I said, nothing to lose in a trial. He himself might realise his career is at a crossroad & welcome a chance to reinvent himself. Either way, he knuckles down & demands a 1st grade spot or accepts he'll be a reserve grader.
not that I think it can happen but if it was on the cards, he would have been bulking up all off-season, you can’t just chuck him there in a trial.

I always save up and go to the dealer with cash offer always felt like I had the upper hand in the haggle.

Odessa, if you are in doubt:

Get a NRMA inspection OR get a mechanic you trust to go with you.

That said:
I drive Toyota/Lexus/Mazda/Honda. I don't get the bills/issues that other people get.
The Hyundai's are solid. Mate had a Hyundai Terracan he left to rust for 2+ years while he was overseas. Car still worked, most cars would break due to rust/breaks/etc.

All of the above are good cars and recommended. That said:
The honda Turbo will break. Your Corolla/Jazz are near indestructable along with the Honda Odyssey*. Toyota Camry's are cabs everywhere. Lexus/Honda if you want Luxury, mazda will do for that though and the modern Toyota's are damn cool.

I love my Lexus RX 400h I mean LOVE that car. ... Sorry this ain't a car chat so going to go mute after this but..
Buy a good car, second hand fine. If in doubt, inspect it and check the vehicle history/revs.
*I know an Odyssey that clocked it's odometer and drove around Australia. Damn indestructable.

Most of our recruits are from good systems you expect it wouldn't take long to gel
Gel is KEY!

It is absolutely KEY.
Look at Penrith. They play out of their skin because they all played together through the junior grades. It's like the Junior development of the blues for the next 10 years bar Mitchell/a few T's all came out of Penrith. Seriously.

When you are a Center and you know your wing can handle the guy coming at him OR when they need support that is KEY.

I am only looking forward to 2025 because our backline has had a serious upgrade and Luai is a gun. But that 'gel' factor counts for heaps. We don't even know if Luai and Galvin will click or if Luai at 7 will work for us.

i love tormenting them, play with them every 8 years or so.last 3 cars i bought always start the same.Extend a hand shake ,show me how easy it is to change a main head light with out cutting my knuckles up and is it extra to have all the techno wonders removed your about to bore me with/which will count against the purchase, plain n simple ,i normaly walk 1/2 way thru their speech, thats the card readers that couldnt sell anything ,good sales people listen ask questions but the tell so many lies you can tell them they said 2 grand under their best price ,their that wrapped up in a sale they forget what they said.Ive always got cash ,some think they can bully you into finance b4 your even looked at a car,and that blank space were the % lives on the paperwork can always be shaved be 30% of their origanal offer if you tell them you dont want theirs, buy private, go to dealer up the road on a bank /morgagel/oan.Always ends up T bone chips salad at the nearest club, gut felling always wins.Best advice is waste a day going to all manufactures in your comfort zone, and if you stay long enough for them to offer a test drive(only reason your still there is its an ok deal) say fk no,that will only give me more reasons not to waste my money ,walk off laughing like a mad man ,the power of purchase is with you ,not them
