Can I put down $2?I’l give you 500/1 odds that he’s 13 come round 1 regardless of his pre season
Out of all WTs recent signings, Bird is the one that concerns me most, much like Olam the previous season I'm worried that he's a bit of a croc.I feel you can say the same about Bird. We’ll see I guess.
His signing in a vacuum is a bit of a concern. The other signings around him has papered over it imo.Out of all WTs recent signings, Bird is the one that concerns me most, much like Olam the previous season I'm worried that he's a bit of a croc.
Hopefully I'm wrong and he carves it up, but I'm not so confident.
Must be confident to be offering those massive odds GNR if you were a bookie your exposure could be huge punters would be flocking just for a value bet.I’l give you 500/1 odds that he’s 13 come round 1 regardless of his pre season
Go for it. Just remember he has to beat out a Pole, Bird and even Seyfarth. He’s long odds for a reason. Can I put down $2?
A bloke carved out of granite and another called cement. That Dogs team optimised the change in player standards ushering in the "full time professional" player instead of the guys who had their trade but trained twice a week & played on a Sunday Arvo.Carved out of Granite.
Bird, Doueihi, and Olam hopefully injuries kept to a minimum dazz.Out of all WTs recent signings, Bird is the one that concerns me most, much like Olam the previous season I'm worried that he's a bit of a croc.
Hopefully I'm wrong and he carves it up, but I'm not so confident.
He’s odds on to play better, at a team he wants to be at.Well, he's at a good team now soon see if he can find his parra form.
You do if keeping them on causes other issues. Bateman had to be gotten rid of no matter what. On balance, being lighter in one position is better than having a bloke who's a known dressing room Cancer destabilizing the whole cultureI agree with u 100% , even if the forced his hand u don’t don’t let people walk unless u are 100% certain that u have a replacement lined up
His salary isn't huge though. Under the previous management he'd have been signed on double what we signed him for and it would have been a massive worryOut of all WTs recent signings, Bird is the one that concerns me most, much like Olam the previous season I'm worried that he's a bit of a croc.

His defence was 1st class , his line breaking was terrible, but with our new backline I would have loved to see how he would have goneYes its a strong point mate but was he the answer at backrow only played a couple of good games there not much better than anyone else we used in his spot but I get it dilutes the backrow depth.
we not talking about Bateman , we are about papa , but on ur last point u would rather have crap kids than a bloke like Bateman who didn’t miss many tackles , attack was terrible, this why we have 3 wooden spoons we let player after player walk out the door but never replace themYou do if keeping them on causes other issues. I hear you , but u are not seeing the POINT, if we don’t make the 8 or go very close I can guarantee we can kiss good bye to Galvin then the next year Laui my ask to leave per his contract . There’s no point have a good backline for the 1st time in ages IF ur pack is crap , we are 2-3 shirt in the backrow , this will be our downfallTrue BP we are light atm, Richo has said its the long game at the club, we are short in 25, iv no doubt that'll be sorted for 26. Ipap was let go as we wernt going to offer him a new spot and it freed up a top 30 spot, he also wasn't performing to the price tag for various reasons. Bateman was shown the door because of issues around him and the coach. It's better to let them both go now even being short in 25, then fixing the issue in 26 you lose one season.
If we keep particularly Bateman on cause ipap was going anyway, what damage could Batemans attitude cause in the sheds and in regard to influencing the younger guys in our squad, you could damage multiple seasons. Like yanking a tooth, once it gets pulled in a few days the toothach is gone. Or keep it and have less pain with the tooth but the pain never disappears.
What true hurts 🤔Mate.... There is about 20 you could 'pull out' on the same topic.
We got you the first time
I think we are a stronger pack then last year , looks like we have guys that have plenty to prove , last year we had blokes going through the motions whinging and whining and those who were looking for a contract elsewhereI hear you , but u are not seeing the POINT, if we don’t make the 8 or go very close I can guarantee we can kiss good bye to Galvin then the next year Laui my ask to leave per his contract . I responded to your post which named Paps and also Bateman. I'd rather Seyfarth and or Bird than Bateman with kids as depth. Bloke would just destroy any chance of building a positive culture and environment which could take seasons to recover from if he poisons the dressing room. His defence was 1st class , his line breaking was terrible, but with our new backline I would have loved to see how he would have gone

We don't need him to be anymore than he was for the dragons last year. Just needs to be a consistent senior player that can help us sure up one side of the field, as long as he doesn't get injured he will play to his value.Out of all WTs recent signings, Bird is the one that concerns me most, much like Olam the previous season I'm worried that he's a bit of a croc.
