@upthetigers was very specific. Apparently he’s going to be a gun,Forwards don’t peak until mid 20s . This whole narrative that you’re gone by the early 20s is like some legacy Toyota cup groupthink .

In this NRL arena you get the very best at the game, some become ELITE players while others are very good players that are the workhorse that every team needs..Think he's a useful 1st grader but not enough power in his game to be elite.
He might be .@upthetigers was very specific. Apparently he’s going to be a gun,
Agree can't all be internationals. In this NRL arena you get the very best at the game, some become ELITE players while others are very good players that are the workhorse that every team needs..
I hope so too, and at 25/26 years of age he should just about to be coming into his best years.Pretty sure they weren't buying him to replace their rep players in the likes of
Capewell, Barnett and Nuikore?
What would I know, Maybe year 6 in the NRL we finally get to see him in Full Bloom?
I certainly hope so.
I think Webster coached him in juniors.I hope so too, and at 25/26 years of age he should just about to be coming into his best years.
I could be wrong, but I felt that towards the end of last season he was calming down a bit and was really trying hard to get some of the rubbish and ill discipline out of his game, just my observation and I hope he continues down that track.
There is no doubting the effort and energy that he brings.
I agree, I think that Webster obviously had a bit of an idea about his ability and potential and the offer by the Warriors that I think was supposedly for around 3 years, I'm pretty sure was made prior to them having Capewell, Barnett and Niukore on board.
nah, Development. off contract at the end of the year.Surprised this kid doesn’t have a wiki page having played a handful of games last year
Is he top 30?
I think Webster coached him in juniors.
I have been very critical of the baby giraffe, but one thing I can’t fault is his passion for the club and the game. He seems to love the collision at times and you can’t teach that. He also seems very team focused and if he’s been told to be more disciplined and has then be working on that and getting better, then I’m am willing to keep a bloke like that around. It’s hard to teach passion, dedication, and toughness, and we have put in the hard yards with him. But I need to see his football to progress this season or I’m upgrading him, or offering min contract as NRL cover if he wants to stay.
Com’ On the Baby Giraffe!!!!
I’d love to see him killing it.
We need a decent srf, the spot is yours for the taking, and more importantly we need a crazy range!!!
Baby giraffe comparison to Seyfarth Butt not getting it is it an old nick name?I think Webster coached him in juniors.

Realistically if he was at any other club the last 4 years, he wouldn't have more than 20 NRL games. Not many other clubs or coaches would put up with his poor discipline and defence.Buggerall if you don't think Seyfarth is a first grader.
Seyfarth has been shite the majority of his career lol he's only made small steps towards improvement the last year & a half reallyAnyone who bashes Seyfarth has no idea. I'd like to see them lace the boots and have a crack.
I think this is a fair take. he's always been a dedicated footballer who's been hellbent on improving but I wouldn't have called him an out and out first grader up until this year.Seyfarth has been shite the majority of his career lol he's only made small steps towards improvement the last year & a half really
At the moment I’d prefer better in our run on side, but let’s hope baby giraffe turns into a Tiger on the park.Plenty to love about him, Loves the joint - Local boy and all that....
Plays his guts out and definitely a bloke you have in the top 30.
Just needs to put it on the park consistently before he's in my Top 13
It’s my nickname for him.Baby giraffe comparison to Seyfarth Butt not getting it is it an old nick name?
I can picture it aimlessly moving around on the field. It’s my nickname for him.
I seen a doco of a baby giraffe being born and it had to try and walk asap. Hilarious.
That was Sayfart in his first five years of NRL; a baby giraffe trying to walk.
Good. PostI think Webster coached him in juniors.

I’ve had enough of so called naturally talented players.Unfortunately he is just one of those guys who doesn't have much natural talent and tries to make up for it with effort.
Why not both?I’ve had enough of so called naturally talented players.
Give me an effort man anyday.
