Cook and Gutho’s form has been on the decline recently.

Struggle to see them making a massive difference at their age.

Gutho may even force out their young fullback who is very inconsistent but a star on his day.

Good post. Also, it’s not like the club didn’t know about Olams injury concerns before he signed… no one should be surprised when he misses 8-10 games again this year either

Honestly, I would be a little suprised.

I am a huge Olam fan. He was an utter gun for the Storm when fit and the fact that they identified pre-existing injuries from his time at the Storm NOW says something.

Yet, yea Olam could be going "hey last few years, ill avoid taking big hitups and retire with the money I have.".

I am hoping post-surgery that Olam will rip in. If Olam wants to, he can turn on GUN mode.
I am not going to be naive though, It's far easier for him to do the minimum. Damn it though I am hoping Luai's work eithic rubbs off on him.

Only thing holding back last season was the knees if there right he should be ready to rip in

With our easy start to the season drawise, he should be sitting at 4 wins or better by round 10.
The way we lose games this year will dictate his fate.
Defence has to improve significantly.
We have a great draw to start. No excuses . Our defence and line speed was the worst in the NRL by far. Will need to improve ten fold for us to be competitive. I think the new players will ensure this happens .
