R1 (H) v Knights - WIN – Shocking! 200 passes in the first game with no practice at training. Was it a fluke against a Newcastle side that includes Ponga? 😲
R2 (A) v Eels - WIN – Eels came out like they were us at SpoonBowl. They must’ve been asleep over the off season because we played like actual contenders. Don’t get used to it. 🏆
R3 (A) v Dolphins - LOSS – Started the season strong... for the first 5 minutes. Then remembered we’re Wests Tigers and just don't win three in a row - ever 🐯💤
R4 (H) v Warriors - WIN – A flurry of brilliance! Fans thought, “This is it!” Spoiler: It wasn’t. 🙃
R5 (A) v Broncos - LOSS – Penalty after penalty. Pretty sure we set a world record. Congrats, I guess? At least no one in the Bin🎯
R6 (A) v Knights - WIN – Everyone played out of their skins! But only because it was against a team fielding half their reserves, including Ponga being out for the count yet again. 😂
R7 (H) v Eels -LOSS – Chris Butler and Clown Klien team up again to award a contraversial penalty on the bell, Moses kicks the goal after the siren to give the Slimeys a 1 point vitory. Anusely says it was the wrong call in the Monday review but the Klien and Butler hold their spots. Unfortunately, moral victories don’t count on the ladder. 😬
R8 (H) v Sharks - WIN – Sharks defence like a sieve; played like they were at a BBQ in thongs. 🍔
R9 (MR) v Dragons - WIN – Scraped by in a nail-biter after being down 24-0 at half time to win by one after the bell. We, the fans, are now calling it “Miracle Round.” 🙌
R10 (A) v Storm - LOSS – The three in a row curse hits again; played like we were allergic to the try line. We struck fear into no one. 🐅
R11 (H) v Rabbitohs - WIN – Wests Tigers pack finally gels and terrorises Cody Walker who is more focussed on fighting than playing footy. Rabbits stage a fight back to get within a point but Cody kicks in it out on the full on the 4th tackle trying for a 40/20 and hands us the win on a platter. 🤦♂️
7/11 best start for Wests Tigers in the history of the club. Buckle up. It’s shaping up to be another season of highs, lows, and a lot of “Why do we do this to ourselves?” moments. Still can't win more than two in a row🐯

That’s not a personal view, it’s just a statement of fact. It depends on the way you look at it GW.
Either way, if you see it as an Everest or a speed bump, you will be right.

I am not expecting Roosters, Cowboys, Raiders or Titans to do too good this year.
If we are not bottom 4 after Round 22, we have the potential to finish strong.

A lot comes down to heart. There are a few teams who don’t look like they will do much. A team like Saints for example. But all it takes is a bit of heart and a team can punch well above their weight.

If we are 5 & 3 leading into magic round, I think we can come home strong enough in the back end of the season, after a mid season slump, to push for an 8 spot like the Dogs did last year.

They're relying on Gutho and Cook to be their attacking threat. They will struggle.

Yeah they're going ok at the tail end of their careers. Not gonna blow teams away with their attack and their halves have a big question mark with Hunt departing.
